Suresh, V., Rajashree, S..  2020.  Establishing Authenticity for DICOM images using ECC algorithm. 2020 Sixth International Conference on Bio Signals, Images, and Instrumentation (ICBSII). :1—4.

Preserving medical data is of utmost importance to stake holders. There are not many laws in India about preservation, usability of patient records. When data is transmitted across the globe there are chances of data getting tampered intentionally or accidentally. Tampered data loses its authenticity for diagnostic purpose, research and various other reasons. This paper proposes an authenticity based ECDSA algorithm by signature verification to identify the tampering of medical image files and alerts by the rules of authenticity. The algorithm can be used by researchers, doctors or any other educated person in order to maintain the authenticity of the record. Presently it is applied on medical related image files like DICOM. However, it can support any other medical related image files and still preserve the authenticity.

Gladwin, S. J., Gowthami, P. Lakshmi.  2020.  Combined Cryptography and Steganography for Enhanced Security in Suboptimal Images. 2020 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Signal Processing (AISP). :1–5.
Technology has developed to a very great extent, and the use of smart systems has introduced an increasing threat to data security and privacy. Most of the applications are built-in unsecured operating systems, and so there is a growing threat to information cloning, forging tampering counterfeiting, etc.. This will lead to an un-compensatory loss for end-users particularly in banking applications and personal data in social media. A robust and effective algorithm based on elliptic curve cryptography combined with Hill cipher has been proposed to mitigate such threats and increase information security. In this method, ciphertext and DCT coefficients of an image, embedded into the base image based on LSB watermarking. The ciphertext is generated based on the Hill Cipher algorithm. Hill Cipher can, however, be easily broken and has weak security and to add complexity, Elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), is combined with Hill cipher. Based on the ECC algorithm, the key is produced, and this key is employed to generate ciphertext through the Hill cipher algorithm. This combination of both steganography and cryptography results in increased authority and ownership of the data for sub-optimal media applications. It is hard to extract the hidden data and the image without the proper key. The performance for hiding text and image into an image data have been analyzed for sub-optimal multimedia applications.

Ichsani, Yuditha, Deyani, Resisca Audia, Bahaweres, Rizal Broer.  2019.  The Cryptocurrency Simulation using Elliptic Curve Cryptography Algorithm in Mining Process from Normal, Failed, and Fake Bitcoin Transactions. 2019 7th International Conference on Cyber and IT Service Management (CITSM). 7:1—8.
On each cryptocurrency transaction, a high-level security is needed to protect user data as well as data on the transaction. At this stage, it takes the appropriate algorithm in securing transactions with more efficient processing time. The Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) is one of the cryptography algorithms which has high-level security, and ECC is often compared with the Rivest, Shamir, and Adleman (RSA) algorithm because it has a security level that is almost the same but has some differences that make ECC is superior compared to the RSA algorithm, so that the ECC algorithm can optimize cryptocurrency security in the transaction process. The purpose of this study is to simulate the bitcoin transactions using cryptography algorithms. This study uses the ECC algorithm as the algorithm ECDH and ECDSA key exchange as the algorithm for signing and verifying. The comparison results of ECC and RSA processing time is 1:25, so the ECC is more efficient. The total processing time of ECC is 0,006 seconds and RSA is 0,152 seconds. The researcher succeeded to implement the ECC algorithm as securing algorithms in mining process of 3 scenarios, normal, failed, and fake bitcoin transactions.

Bhuvaneswari, R., Ramachandran, R..  2017.  Prevention of Denial of Service (DoS) attack in OLSR protocol using fictitious nodes and ECC algorithm. 2017 International Conference on Algorithms, Methodology, Models and Applications in Emerging Technologies (ICAMMAET). :1–5.

Security is the most important issue which needs to be given utmost importance and as both `Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANET) and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) have similar system models, their security issues are also similar. This study deals in analysing the various lapses in security and the characteristics of various routing protocol's functionality and structure. This paper presents the implementation of ECC algorithm in the prevention of Denial of Service (DoS) attack through fictitious node. Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) protocol is a MANET routing protocol and is evaluated mainly for two things. Primarily OLSR is less secure like AODV and others. The reason for it being less secure is that it is a table-driven in nature and uses a methodology called selective flooding technique, where redundancy is reduced and thus the security possibilities of the protocol is reduced. Another reason for selecting OLSR is that is an highly effective routing protocol for MANET. A brief information about formal routing is provided by the proposed methodology termed Denial Contradictions with Fictitious Node Mechanism (DCFM) which provides brief information about formal routing. Here, fictitious node acts as a virtual node and large networks are managed from attacks. More than 95% of attacks are prevented by this proposed methodology and the solution is applicable all the other DoS attacks of MANET.

Young Sil Lee, Alasaarela, E., Hoonjae Lee.  2014.  Secure key management scheme based on ECC algorithm for patient's medical information in healthcare system. Information Networking (ICOIN), 2014 International Conference on. :453-457.

Recent advances in Wireless Sensor Networks have given rise to many application areas in healthcare such as the new field of Wireless Body Area Networks. The health status of humans can be tracked and monitored using wearable and non-wearable sensor devices. Security in WBAN is very important to guarantee and protect the patient's personal sensitive data and establishing secure communications between BAN sensors and external users is key to addressing prevalent security and privacy concerns. In this paper, we propose secure and efficient key management scheme based on ECC algorithm to protect patient's medical information in healthcare system. Our scheme divided into three phases as setup, registration, verification and key exchange. And we use the identification code which is the SIM card number on a patient's smart phone with the private key generated by the legal use instead of the third party. Also to prevent the replay attack, we use counter number at every process of authenticated message exchange to resist.
