This article considers the group consistency of second-order MAS with directly connected spanning tree communication topology. Because the MAS is divided into several groups, we proposed a group consistency control method based on intermittent control, and the range of parameters is given when the system achieves consensus. The protocol can realize periodic control and reduce the working hours of the controller in period. Furthermore, the group consistency of MAS is turn to the stability analysis of error, and a group consistency protocol of MAS with time-delays is designed. Finally, two examples are used for verify the theory.

The objective of this paper is to propose a model of a distributed intrusion detection system based on the multi-agent paradigm and the distributed file system (HDFS). Multi-agent systems (MAS) are very suitable to intrusion detection systems as they can address the issue of geographic data security in terms of autonomy, distribution and performance. The proposed system is based on a set of autonomous agents that cooperate and collaborate with each other to effectively detect intrusions and suspicious activities that may impact geographic information systems. Our system allows the detection of known and unknown computer attacks without any human intervention (Security Experts) unlike traditional intrusion detection systems that rely on knowledge bases as a mechanism to detect known attacks. The proposed model allows a real time detection of known and unknown attacks within large networks hosting geographic data.

Conversational systems are computer programs that interact with users using natural language. Considering the complexity and interaction of the different components involved in building intelligent conversational systems that can perform diverse tasks, a promising approach to facilitate their development is by using multiagent systems (MAS). This paper reviews the main concepts and history of conversational systems, and introduces an architecture based on MAS. This architecture was designed to support the development of conversational systems in the domain chosen by the developer while also providing a reusable built-in dialogue control. We present a practical application in the healthcare domain. We observed that it can help developers to create conversational systems in different domains while providing a reusable and centralized dialogue control. We also present derived lessons learned that can be helpful to steer future research on engineering domain-specific conversational systems.

The objective of this paper is to propose a distributed intrusion detection model based on a multi agent system. Mutli Agent Systems (MAS) are very suitable for intrusion detection systems as they meet the characteristics required by the networks and Big Data issues. The MAS agents cooperate and communicate with each other to ensure the effective detection of network intrusions without the intervention of an expert as used to be in the classical intrusion detection systems relying on signature matching to detect known attacks. The proposed model helped to detect known and unknown attacks within big computer infrastructure by responding to the network requirements in terms of distribution, autonomy, responsiveness and communication. The proposed model is capable of achieving a good and a real time intrusion detection using multi-agents paradigm and Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).

Mobile apps are widely adopted in daily life, and contain increasing security flaws. Many regulatory agencies and organizations have announced security guidelines for app development. However, most security guidelines involving technicality and compliance with this requirement is not easily feasible. Thus, we propose Mobile Apps Assessment and Analysis System (MAS), an automatic security validation system to improve guideline compliance. MAS combines static and dynamic analysis techniques, which can be used to verify whether android apps meet the security guideline requirements. We implemented MAS in practice and verified 143 real-world apps produced by the Taiwan government. Besides, we also validated 15,000 popular apps collected from Google Play Store produced in three countries. We found that most apps contain at least three security issues. Finally, we summarize the results and list the most common security flaws for consideration in further app development.

To establish a secure connection between a mobile user and a remote server, this paper presents a session key agreement scheme through remote mutual authentication protocol by using mobile application software(MAS). We analyzed the security of our protocol informally, which confirms that the protocol is secure against all the relevant security attacks including off-line identity-password guessing attacks, user-server impersonation attacks, and insider attack. In addition, the widely accepted simulator tool AVISPA simulates the proposed protocol and confirms that the protocol is SAFE under the OFMC and CL-AtSe back-ends. Our protocol not only provide strong security against the relevant attacks, but it also achieves proper mutual authentication, user anonymity, known key secrecy and efficient password change operation. The performance comparison is also performed, which ensures that the protocol is efficient in terms of computation and communication costs.
