Zhang, Chenxu, Wang, Xiaomei, Sun, Weikai.  2021.  Coverless Steganography Method based on the Source XML File Organization of OOXML Documents. 2021 2nd International Conference on Electronics, Communications and Information Technology (CECIT). :413—420.
Existing search-based coverless text steganography algorithms according to the characteristics of the text, do not need to modify the carrier, and have good resistance to detection, but they rely on a large text data set and have a limited hiding capacity. For this reason, this paper proposes a coverless steganography method based on the source XML file organization of the OOXML documents from a new perspective. It analyzes the organization of OOXML documents, and uses the differences of organization to construct the mapping between documents and secret information, so as to realize the coverless information hiding. To achieve the efficiency of information hiding, a compound tree model is designed and introduced to construct the OOXML document category library. Compared with the existing coverless information hiding methods, the text set size that this method relies on is significantly reduced, and the flexibility of the mapping is higher under the similar hiding capacity.

Raja, S. Kanaga Suba, Sathya, A., Priya, L..  2020.  A Hybrid Data Access Control Using AES and RSA for Ensuring Privacy in Electronic Healthcare Records. 2020 International Conference on Power, Energy, Control and Transmission Systems (ICPECTS). :1—5.
In the current scenario, the data owners would like to access data from anywhere and anytime. Hence, they will store their data in public or private cloud along with encryption and particular set of attributes to access control on the cloud data. While uploading the data into public or private cloud they will assign some attribute set to their data. If any authorized cloud user wants to download their data they should enter that particular attribute set to perform further actions on the data owner's data. A cloud user wants to register their details under cloud organization to access the data owner's data. Users wants to submit their details as attributes along with their designation. Based on the Users details Semi-Trusted Authority generates decryption keys to get control on owner's data. A user can perform a lot of operation over the cloud data. If the user wants to read the cloud data he needs to be entering some read related, and if he wants to write the data he needs to be entering write related attribute. For each and every action user in an organization would be verified with their unique attribute set. These attributes will be stored by the admins to the authorized users in cloud organization. These attributes will be stored in the policy files in a cloud. Along with this attribute,a rule based engine is used, to provide the access control to user. If any user leaks their decryption key to the any malicious user data owners wants to trace by sending audit request to auditor and auditor will process the data owners request and concludes that who is the convict.

Wang, X., Herwono, I., Cerbo, F. D., Kearney, P., Shackleton, M..  2018.  Enabling Cyber Security Data Sharing for Large-scale Enterprises Using Managed Security Services. 2018 IEEE Conference on Communications and Network Security (CNS). :1—7.
Large enterprises and organizations from both private and public sectors typically outsource a platform solution, as part of the Managed Security Services (MSSs), from 3rd party providers (MSSPs) to monitor and analyze their data containing cyber security information. Sharing such data among these large entities is believed to improve their effectiveness and efficiency at tackling cybercrimes, via improved analytics and insights. However, MSS platform customers currently are not able or not willing to share data among themselves because of multiple reasons, including privacy and confidentiality concerns, even when they are using the same MSS platform. Therefore any proposed mechanism or technique to address such a challenge need to ensure that sharing is achieved in a secure and controlled way. In this paper, we propose a new architecture and use case driven designs to enable confidential, flexible and collaborative data sharing among such organizations using the same MSS platform. MSS platform is a complex environment where different stakeholders, including authorized MSSP personnel and customers' own users, have access to the same platform but with different types of rights and tasks. Hence we make every effort to improve the usability of the platform supporting sharing while keeping the existing rights and tasks intact. As an innovative and pioneering attempt to address the challenge of data sharing in the MSS platform, we hope to encourage further work to follow so that confidential and collaborative sharing eventually happens among MSS platform customers.

Eryonucu, Cihan, Ayday, Erman, Zeydan, Engin.  2018.  A Demonstration of Privacy-Preserving Aggregate Queries for Optimal Location Selection. 2018 IEEE 19th International Symposium on "A World of Wireless, Mobile and Multimedia Networks" (WoWMoM). :1–3.
In recent years, service providers, such as mobile operators providing wireless services, collected location data in enormous extent with the increase of the usages of mobile phones. Vertical businesses, such as banks, may want to use this location information for their own scenarios. However, service providers cannot directly provide these private data to the vertical businesses because of the privacy and legal issues. In this demo, we show how privacy preserving solutions can be utilized using such location-based queries without revealing each organization's sensitive data. In our demonstration, we used partially homomorphic cryptosystem in our protocols and showed practicality and feasibility of our proposed solution.

Harris, Daniel R., Delcher, Chris.  2019.  bench4gis: Benchmarking Privacy-aware Geocoding with Open Big Data. 2019 IEEE International Conference on Big Data (Big Data). :4067–4070.
Geocoding, the process of translating addresses to geographic coordinates, is a relatively straight-forward and well-studied process, but limitations due to privacy concerns may restrict usage of geographic data. The impact of these limitations are further compounded by the scale of the data, and in turn, also limits viable geocoding strategies. For example, healthcare data is protected by patient privacy laws in addition to possible institutional regulations that restrict external transmission and sharing of data. This results in the implementation of “in-house” geocoding solutions where data is processed behind an organization's firewall; quality assurance for these implementations is problematic because sensitive data cannot be used to externally validate results. In this paper, we present our software framework called bench4gis which benchmarks privacy-aware geocoding solutions by leveraging open big data as surrogate data for quality assurance; the scale of open big data sets for address data can ensure that results are geographically meaningful for the locale of the implementing institution.

TÎTU, Mihail Aurel, POP, Alina Bianca, ŢÎŢU, Ştefan.  2018.  The correlation between intellectual property management and quality management in the modern knowledge-based economy. 2018 10th International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence (ECAI). :1—6.
The aim of this research paper is to highlight the intellectual property place and role within an industrial knowledge-based organization which performs design activities. The research begins by presenting the importance of integrating intellectual property policy implementation with quality policy. The research is based on the setting of objectives in the intellectual property field. This research also establishes some intellectual property strategies, and improvement measures for intellectual property protection management. The basis for these activities is correlation of the quality policy with an intellectual property policy, as well as the point of strength identified in the studied organization. The issues discussed in this scientific paper conclude on the possibility of the implementation of standards in the intellectual property field.

Adetunji, Akinbobola Oluwaseun, Butakov, Sergey, Zavarsky, Pavol.  2018.  Automated Security Configuration Checklist for Apple iOS Devices Using SCAP v1.2. 2018 International Conference on Platform Technology and Service (PlatCon). :1–6.
The security content automation includes configurations of large number of systems, installation of patches securely, verification of security-related configuration settings, compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements, and ability to respond quickly when new threats are discovered [1]. Although humans are important in information security management, humans sometimes introduce errors and inconsistencies in an organization due to manual nature of their tasks [2]. Security Content Automation Protocol was developed by the U.S. NIST to automate information security management tasks such as vulnerability and patch management, and to achieve continuous monitoring of security configurations in an organization. In this paper, SCAP is employed to develop an automated security configuration checklist for use in verifying Apple iOS device configuration against the defined security baseline to enforce policy compliance in an enterprise.

Bin Ahmad, Maaz, Asif, Muhammad, Saad, Afshan, Wahab, Abdul.  2019.  Cloud Computing: A Paradigm of More Insider Threats. 2019 4th International Conference on Information Systems Engineering (ICISE). :103–108.
Insider threats are one of the most challenging issues in the world of computer networks. Now a day, most of the companies are relying on cloud services to get scalable data services and to reduce cost. The inclusion of cloud environment has spread the canvas for insider threats because cloud service providers are also there in addition to the organization that outsourced for cloud services. In this paper, multiple existing approaches to handle the insider threats in cloud environment have been investigated and analyzed thoroughly. The comparison of these techniques depicts which better approaches in the paradigm of cloud computing exist.

Nasir, M. A., Sultan, S., Nefti-Meziani, S., Manzoor, U..  2015.  Potential cyber-attacks against global oil supply chain. 2015 International Conference on Cyber Situational Awareness, Data Analytics and Assessment (CyberSA). :1–7.

The energy sector has been actively looking into cyber risk assessment at a global level, as it has a ripple effect; risk taken at one step in supply chain has an impact on all the other nodes. Cyber-attacks not only hinder functional operations in an organization but also waves damaging effects to the reputation and confidence among shareholders resulting in financial losses. Organizations that are open to the idea of protecting their assets and information flow and are equipped; enough to respond quickly to any cyber incident are the ones who prevail longer in global market. As a contribution we put forward a modular plan to mitigate or reduce cyber risks in global supply chain by identifying potential cyber threats at each step and identifying their immediate counterm easures.
