M, Kiruthika., M.S, Saravanan..  2021.  A Related work on secure event logs protection with user identity using privacy preservation for the cloud infrastructure. 2021 International Conference on Computer Communication and Informatics (ICCCI). :1–4.
The cloud infrastructure is not new to the society from past one decade. But even in recent time, the companies started migrating from local services to cloud services for better connectivity and for other requirements, this is due to companies financial limitations on existing infrastructure, they are migrating to less cost and hire and fire support based cloud infrastructures. But the proposed cloud infrastructure require security on event logs accessed by different end users on the cloud environment. To adopt the security on local services to cloud service based infrastructure, it need better identify management between end users. Therefore this paper presents the related works of user identity as a service for each user involving in cloud service and the accessing permission and protection will be monitored and controlled by the cloud security infrastructures.

Kandoussi, El Mehdi, El Mir, Iman, Hanini, Mohamed, Haqiq, Abdelkrim.  2019.  Modeling Virtual Machine Migration as a Security Mechanism by using Continuous-Time Markov Chain Model. 2019 4th World Conference on Complex Systems (WCCS). :1–6.

In Cloud Computing Environment, using only static security measures didn't mitigate the attack considerably. Hence, deployment of sophisticated methods by the attackers to understand the network topology of complex network makes the task easier. For this reason, the use of dynamic security measure as virtual machine (VM) migration increases uncertainty to locate a virtual machine in a dynamic attack surface. Although this, not all VM's migration enhances security. Indeed, the destination server to host the VM should be selected precisely in order to avoid externality and attack at the same time. In this paper, we model migration in cloud environment by using continuous Markov Chain. Then, we analyze the probability of a VM to be compromised based on the destination server parameters. Finally, we provide some numerical results to show the effectiveness of our approach in term of avoiding intrusion.

Kansal, V., Dave, M..  2017.  Proactive DDoS attack detection and isolation. 2017 International Conference on Computer, Communications and Electronics (Comptelix). :334–338.

The increased number of cyber attacks makes the availability of services a major security concern. One common type of cyber threat is distributed denial of service (DDoS). A DDoS attack is aimed at disrupting the legitimate users from accessing the services. It is easier for an insider having legitimate access to the system to deceive any security controls resulting in insider attack. This paper proposes an Early Detection and Isolation Policy (EDIP)to mitigate insider-assisted DDoS attacks. EDIP detects insider among all legitimate clients present in the system at proxy level and isolate it from innocent clients by migrating it to attack proxy. Further an effective algorithm for detection and isolation of insider is developed with the aim of maximizing attack isolation while minimizing disruption to benign clients. In addition, concept of load balancing is used to prevent proxies from getting overloaded.
