Nowadays, an increasing trend to use autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) for applications like logistics as well as security and surveillance can be recorded. Autonomic UAVs require robust and precise navigation to ensure efficient and safe operation even in strong multipath environments and (intended) interference. The need for robust navigation on UAVs implies the necessary integration of low-cost, lightweight, and compact array antennas as well as structures for multipath mitigation into the UAV platform. This article investigates a miniaturized antenna array mounted on top of vertical choke rings for robust navigation purposes. The array employs four 3D printed elements based on dielectric resonators capable of operating in all GNSS bands while compact enough for mobile applications such as UAV.

Risk Assessment is a foundation of decision-making about a future project behaviour or action. The related decision made might entail further analyzes to perform risk- reduction. The risk is a general phenomenon that takes different depicts and types. Static risk and its circumstances do not significantly change over time while dynamic risk arises out of the changes in interrelated circumstances. A Multi-Agent System (MAS) approach has become a popular tool to tackle different problems that relate to risk. The MAS helps in the decision aid processes and when responding to the consequences of the risk. This paper surveys some of the existing methods and techniques of risk assessment in different application domains. The survey focuses on the employment of MAS approach in risk assessment. The survey outcomes an illustration of the roles and contributions of the MAS in the Dynamic Risk Assessment (DRA) field.

Most security software tools try to detect malicious components by cryptographic hashes, signatures or based on their behavior. The former, is a widely adopted approach based on Integrity Measurement Architecture (IMA) enabling appraisal and attestation of system components. The latter, however, may induce a very long time until misbehavior of a component leads to a successful detection. Another approach is a Dynamic Runtime Attestation (DRA) based on the comparison of binary code loaded in the memory and well-known references. Since DRA is a complex approach, involving multiple related components and often complex attestation strategies, a flexible and extensible architecture is needed. In a cooperation project an architecture was designed and a Proof of Concept (PoC) successfully developed and evaluated. To achieve needed flexibility and extensibility, the implementation facilitates central components providing attestation strategies (guidelines). These guidelines define and implement the necessary steps for all relevant attestation operations, i.e. measurement, reference generation and verification.
