5G mobile networks promise universal communication environment and aims at providing higher bandwidth, increased communication and networking capabilities, and extensive signal coverage by using multiple communication technologies including Device-to-Device (D-to-D). This paradigm, will allow scalable and ubiquitous connectivity for large-scale mobile networks where a huge number of heterogeneous devices with limited resources will cooperate to enhance communication efficiency in terms of link reliability, spectral efficiency, system capacity, and transmission range. However, owing to its decentralized nature, cooperative D-to-D communication could be vulnerable to attacks initiated on relay nodes. Consequently, a source node has the interest to select the more protected relay to ensure the security of its traffic. Nevertheless, an improvement in the protection level has a counterpart cost that must be sustained by the device. To address this trade-off as well as the interaction between the attacker and the source device, we propose a dynamic game theoretic based approach to model and analyze this problem as a cost model. The utility function of the proposed non-cooperative game is based on the concepts of return on protection and return on attack which illustrate the gain of selecting a relay for transmitting a data packet by a source node and the reward of the attacker to perform an attack to compromise the transmitted data. Moreover, we discuss and analyze Nash equilibrium convergence of this attack-defense model and we propose an heuristic algorithm that can determine the equilibrium state in a limited number of running stages. Finally, we perform simulation work to show the effectiveness of the game model in assessing the behavior of the source node and the attacker and its ability to reach equilibrium within a finite number of steps.

It can get the user's privacy and home energy use information by analyzing the user's electrical load information in smart grid, and this is an area of concern. A rechargeable battery may be used in the home network to protect user's privacy. In this paper, the battery can neither charge nor discharge, and the power of battery is adjustable, at the same time, we model the real user's electrical load information and the battery power information and the recorded electrical power of smart meters which are processed with discrete way. Then we put forward a heuristic algorithm which can make the rate of information leakage less than existing solutions. We use statistical methods to protect user's privacy, the theoretical analysis and the examples show that our solution makes the scene design more reasonable and is more effective than existing solutions to avoid the leakage of the privacy.

Rahbari, D., Kabirzadeh, S., Nickray, M..  2017.  A security aware scheduling in fog computing by hyper heuristic algorithm. 2017 3rd Iranian Conference on Intelligent Systems and Signal Processing (ICSPIS). :87–92.

Fog computing provides a new architecture for the implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT), which can connect sensor nodes to the cloud using the edge of the network. This structure has improved the latency and energy consumption in the cloud. In this heterogeneous and distributed environment, resource allocation is very important. Hence, scheduling will be a challenge to increase productivity and allocate resources appropriately to the tasks. Programs that run in this environment should be protected from intruders. We consider three parameters as authentication, integrity, and confidentiality to maintain security in fog devices. These parameters have time and computational overhead. In the proposed approach, we schedule the modules for the run in fog devices by heuristic algorithms based on data mining technique. The objective function is included CPU utilization, bandwidth, and security overhead. We compare the proposed algorithm with several heuristic algorithms. The results show that our proposed algorithm improved the average energy consumption of 63.27%, cost 44.71% relative to the PSO, ACO, SA algorithms.
