Aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional network active security threat model that cannot continuously control the threat process, a network active security threat model based on offensive and defensive differential game is constructed. The attack and defense differential game theory is used to define the parameters of the network active security threat model, on this basis, the network security target is determined, the network active security threat is identified by the attack defense differential equation, and finally the network active security threat is quantitatively evaluated, thus construction of network active security threat model based on offensive and defensive differential game is completed. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional network active security threat model, the proposed model is more feasible in the attack and defense control of the network active security threat process, and can achieve the ideal application effect.

Ahalawat, Anchal, Dash, Shashank Sekhar, Panda, Abinas, Babu, Korra Sathya.  2019.  Entropy Based DDoS Detection and Mitigation in OpenFlow Enabled SDN. 2019 International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking (ViTECoN). :1–5.
Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS) attacks have become most important network security threat as the number of devices are connected to internet increases exponentially and reaching an attack volume approximately very high compared to other attacks. To make the network safe and flexible a new networking infrastructure such as Software Defined Networking (SDN) has come into effect, which relies on centralized controller and decoupling of control and data plane. However due to it's centralized controller it is prone to DDoS attacks, as it makes the decision of forwarding of packets based on rules installed in switch by OpenFlow protocol. Out of all different DDoS attacks, UDP (User Datagram Protocol) flooding constitute the most in recent years. In this paper, we have proposed an entropy based DDoS detection and rate limiting based mitigation for efficient service delivery. We have evaluated using Mininet as emulator and Ryu as controller by taking switch as OpenVswitch and obtained better result in terms of bandwidth utilization and hit ratio which consume network resources to make denial of service.

Gong Bei, Zhang Jianbiao, Ye Xiaolie, Shen Changxiang.  2014.  A trusted measurement scheme suitable for the clients in the trusted network. Communications, China. 11:143-153.

The trusted network connection is a hot spot in trusted computing field and the trust measurement and access control technology are used to deal with network security threats in trusted network. But the trusted network connection lacks fine-grained states and real-time measurement support for the client and the authentication mechanism is difficult to apply in the trusted network connection, it is easy to cause the loss of identity privacy. In order to solve the above-described problems, this paper presents a trust measurement scheme suitable for clients in the trusted network, the scheme integrates the following attributes such as authentication mechanism, state measurement, and real-time state measurement and so on, and based on the authentication mechanism and the initial state measurement, the scheme uses the real-time state measurement as the core method to complete the trust measurement for the client. This scheme presented in this paper supports both static and dynamic measurements. Overall, the characteristics of this scheme such as fine granularity, dynamic, real-time state measurement make it possible to make more fine-grained security policy and therefore it overcomes inadequacies existing in the current trusted network connection.
