Dielectric capacitors have attracted attention as energy storage devices that can achieve rapid charge and discharge. But the key to restricting its development is the low energy storage density of dielectric materials. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), as a polymer with high dielectric properties, is expected to improve the energy storage density of dielectric materials. In this work, the multilayer structure of PVDF ferroelectric polymer is designed, and the influence of the number of layers on the maximum polarization, remanent polarization, applied electric field and energy storage density of the dielectric material is studied. The final obtained double-layer PVDF obtained a discharge energy storage density of 10.6 J/cm3 and an efficiency of 49.1% at an electric field of 410 kV/mm; the three-layer PVDF obtained a discharge energy storage density of 11.0 J/cm3 and an efficiency of 37.2% at an electric field of 440 kV/mm.

Lopes, Carmelo Riccardo, Ala, Guido, Zizzo, Gaetano, Zito, Pietro, Lampasi, Alessandro.  2021.  Transient DC-Arc Voltage Model in the Hybrid Switch of the DTT Fast Discharge Unit. 2021 IEEE International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering and 2021 IEEE Industrial and Commercial Power Systems Europe (EEEIC / I&CPS Europe). :1—5.
The focus of this work is the transient modelling of the DC-arc voltage on a Hybrid Switch (a mechanical switch in parallel with a static switch) of a key protection component called Fast Discharge Unit (FDU) in the Divertor Tokamak Test (DTT). The DTT facility is an experimental tokamak in advanced design and realization phase, which will be built in the ENEA Research Centre in Frascati (Italy). The FDU allows the safe discharge of the Toroidal Field (TF) superconducting magnets when a quench is detected or a failure occurs in the power supply or in the cryogenic system. In this work, the arc conductance of the mechanical By-Pass Switch (BPS) of the Hybrid Switch is modelled using the well-known Mayr-Cassie equations and the Paukert arc parameters. The simulations show a good agreement with the expected results in terms of voltage and current transient from the mechanical switch to the static switch.

Zhou, Changjie, Xiao, Dongping, Bao, Yang.  2021.  Numerical Analysis of the Motion Characteristics of Combustion Particles in Gap Based on Multi-Physical Field Coupling. 2021 International Conference on Electrical Materials and Power Equipment (ICEMPE). :1–4.
In case of wildfire, particles generated in combustion are in complex law of motion under the influence of flame temperature, airflow and lots of electrons and ions. They would distort the space electric field, and lead to gap discharge. This paper develops a multi-physics coupling calculation model of fluid, temperature, electric field and particle movement by combining the rod-plate gap experiment that simulates the wildfire condition. It analyzes the motion state of ash particles in flames, studies the charged particles of different polarity separately, and explores the impact of particle properties on the electric field of gap space by combining the distribution of particles. Results have shown that there are differences in the motion state of charged particles of different polarity, and the electrode will absorb some particles with different charges, while charged particles with the same polarity as the electrode will move away from the electrode in random motion. Particles of different properties (particle size, relative dielectric constant) have different impacts on the electric field of gap space, but they all promote the discharge propagation.

The paper deals with the modelling and simulation of a Fast Discharge Unit (FDU) for quench protection of the Toroidal Field (TF) magnets of the Divertor Tokamak Test, an experimental facility under design and construction in Frascati (Italy). The FDU is a safety key component that protects the superconducting magnets when a quench is detected through the fast extraction of the energy stored in superconducting magnets by adding in the TF magnets a dump (or discharge) resistor. In the paper, two different configurations of dump resistors (fixed and variable respectively) have been analysed and discussed. As a first result, it is possible to underline that the configuration with variable dump resistor is more efficient than the one with a fixed dump resistor.

Handa, Jigyasa, Singh, Saurabh, Saraswat, Shipra.  2019.  A Comparative Study of Mouse and Keystroke Based Authentication. 2019 9th International Conference on Cloud Computing, Data Science Engineering (Confluence). :670–674.

One of the basic behavioural biometric methods is keystroke element. Being less expensive and not requiring any extra bit of equipment is the main advantage of keystroke element. The primary concentration of this paper is to give an inevitable review of behavioural biometrics strategies, measurements and different methodologies and difficulties and future bearings specially of keystroke analysis and mouse dynamics. Keystrokes elements frameworks utilize insights, e.g. time between keystrokes, word decisions, word mixes, general speed of writing and so on. Mouse Dynamics is termed as the course of actions captured from the moving mouse by an individual when interacting with a GUI. These are representative factors which may be called mouse dynamics signature of an individual, and may be used for verification of identity of an individual. In this paper, we compare the authentication system based on keystroke dynamics and mouse dynamics.
