Consensus-based Frequency Control of a Cyber-physical Power System under Two Types of DDoS Attacks. 2022 34th Chinese Control and Decision Conference (CCDC). :1060–1065.
.
2022. The consensus-based frequency control relying on a communication system is used to restore the frequency deviations introduced by the primary droop control in an islanded AC microgrid, a typical cyber-physical power system(CPPS). This paper firstly studies the performance of the CPPS under two types of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS ) attacks, finds that the intelligent attacks may cause more damage than the brute force attacks, and analyzes some potential defense strategies of the CPPS from two points of view. Some simulation results are also given to show the performance of both the physical and cyber system of the CPPS under different operation conditions.

Vulnerability analysis of Cyber-physical power system based on Analytic Hierarchy Process. 2022 IEEE 10th Joint International Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Conference (ITAIC). 10:2024–2028.

2022. In recent years, the blackout accident shows that the cause of power failure is not only in the power network, but also in the cyber network. Aiming at the problem of cyber network fault Cyber-physical power systems, combined with the structure and functional attributes of cyber network, the comprehensive criticality of information node is defined. By evaluating the vulnerability of ieee39 node system, it is found that the fault of high comprehensive criticality information node will cause greater load loss to the system. The simulation results show that the comprehensive criticality index can effectively identify the key nodes of the cyber network.

Cyber-Physical Power System Vulnerability Analysis Based on Complex Network Theory. 2021 6th Asia Conference on Power and Electrical Engineering (ACPEE). :482—486.
.
2021. The vulnerability assessment of the cyber-physical power system based on complex network theory is applied in this paper. The influence of the power system statistics upon the system vulnerability is studied based on complex network theory. The electrical betweenness is defined to suitably describe the power system characteristics. The real power systems are utilized as examples to analyze the distribution of the degree and betweenness of the power system as a complex network. The topology model of the cyber-physical power system is formed, and the static analysis is implemented to the study of the cyber-physical power system structural vulnerability. The IEEE 300 bus test system is selected to verify the model.
Robustness Analysis of Cyber-Physical Power System Based on Adjacent Matrix Evolution. 2021 China Automation Congress (CAC). :2104—2109.
.
2021. Considering the influence of load, This paper proposes a robust analysis method of cyber-physical power system based on the evolution of adjacency matrix. This method uses the load matrix to detect whether the system has overload failure, utilizes the reachable matrix to detect whether the system has unconnected failure, and uses the dependency matrix to reveal the cascading failure mechanism in the system. Finally, analyze the robustness of the cyber-physical power system. The IEEE30 standard node system is taken as an example for simulation experiment, and introduced the connectivity index and the load loss ratio as evaluation indexes. The robustness of the system is evaluated and analyzed by comparing the variation curves of connectivity index and load loss ratio under different tolerance coefficients. The results show that the proposed method is feasible, reduces the complexity of graph-based attack methods, and easy to research and analyze.
A Vulnerability Assessment Method of Cyber Physical Power System Considering Power-Grid Infrastructures Failure. 2019 IEEE Sustainable Power and Energy Conference (iSPEC). :1492—1496.
.
2019. In order to protect power grid network, the security assessment techniques which include both cyber side and the physical side should be considered. In this paper, we present a method for evaluating the dynamic vulnerability of cyber-physical power system (CPPS) considering the power grid infrastructures failure. First, according to the functional characteristics of different components, the impact of a single component function failure on CPPS operation is analyzed and quantified, such as information components, communication components and power components; then, the dynamic vulnerability of multiple components synchronization function failure is calculated, and the full probability evaluation formula of CPPS operational dynamic vulnerability is built; Thirdly, from an attacker's perspective to identify the most hazardous component combinations for CPPS multi-node collaborative attack; Finally, a local CPPS model is established based on the IEEE-9 bus system to quantify its operational dynamic vulnerability, and the effectiveness of proposed method is verified.
