Localized Differential Location Privacy Protection Scheme in Mobile Environment. 2022 IEEE 5th International Conference on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (BDAI). :148–152.
.
2022. When users request location services, they are easy to expose their privacy information, and the scheme of using a third-party server for location privacy protection has high requirements for the credibility of the server. To solve these problems, a localized differential privacy protection scheme in mobile environment is proposed, which uses Markov chain model to generate probability transition matrix, and adds Laplace noise to construct a location confusion function that meets differential privacy, Conduct location confusion on the client, construct and upload anonymous areas. Through the analysis of simulation experiments, the scheme can solve the problem of untrusted third-party server, and has high efficiency while ensuring the high availability of the generated anonymous area.
A robust fixed path-based routing scheme for protecting the source location privacy in WSNs. 2021 17th International Conference on Mobility, Sensing and Networking (MSN). :48–55.
.
2021. With the development of wireless sensor networks (WSNs), WSNs have been widely used in various fields such as animal habitat detection, military surveillance, etc. This paper focuses on protecting the source location privacy (SLP) in WSNs. Existing algorithms perform poorly in non-uniform networks which are common in reality. In order to address the performance degradation problem of existing algorithms in non-uniform networks, this paper proposes a robust fixed path-based random routing scheme (RFRR), which guarantees the path diversity with certainty in non-uniform networks. In RFRR, the data packets are sent by selecting a routing path that is highly differentiated from each other, which effectively protects SLP and resists the backtracking attack. The experimental results show that RFRR increases the difficulty of the backtracking attack while safekeeping the balance between security and energy consumption.
LBS-based location privacy protection mechanism in augmented reality. 2020 International Conference on Internet of Things and Intelligent Applications (ITIA). :1—6.
.
2020. With the development of augmented reality(AR) technology and location-based service (LBS) technology, combining AR with LBS will create a new way of life and socializing. In AR, users may consider the privacy and security of data. In LBS, the leakage of user location privacy is an important threat to LBS users. Therefore, it is very important for privacy management of positioning information and user location privacy to avoid loopholes and abuse. In this review, the concepts and principles of AR technology and LBS would be introduced. The existing privacy measurement and privacy protection framework would be analyzed and summarized. Also future research direction of location privacy protection would be discussed.
Providing Location Privacy Using Fake Sources in Wireless Sensor Networks. 2018 IEEE 12th International Conference on Application of Information and Communication Technologies (AICT). :1–4.
.
2018. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) consist of low-cost, resource-constrained sensor nodes and a designated node called a sink which collects data from the sensor nodes. A WSN can be used in numerous applications such as subject tracking and monitoring, where it is often desirable to keep the location of the subject private. Without location privacy protection, an adversary can locate the subject. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that tries to keep the subject location private from a global adversary, which can see the entire network traffic, in an energy efficient way.
