At the end of the IT Security degree program a simulation game is conducted to repeat and consolidate the core skills of a Bachelor’s graduate. The focus is not on teaching content, but on the application of already learned skills. The scenario shows the students the risks of a completely networked world, which has come to a complete standstill due to a catastrophe. The participants occupy in groups the predefined companies, which are assigned with the reconstruction of the communication infrastructure (the internet).
