Overview: As digital computing and communication become faster, cheaper, and available in packages that are smaller and use less power, these capabilities are increasingly embedded in many objects and structures in the physical environment. Cyber-physical systems (CPS) are physical and engineered systems whose operations are monitored, coordinated, controlled, and integrated by computing and communication.

Cyber-physical systems (CPS) have great potential to increase performance and efficiency of applications in almost all societal and industrial domains.They are expected to expand globally, and thus, will increasingly impact citizens of all nations whether as consumers or innovators. We believe this global nature of CPS should be explored for its potential to address current limitations, overcome challenges, and facilitate the more ubiquitous use of the technologies worldwide.

Dear Global City Teams Challenge (GCTC) community,
The 2017 GCTC Expo is less than a week away. We are turning a 100,000 SQFT exhibit hall into a spectacular show space with speakers and exhibitors from over 90 teams representing more than 120 cities and 300 companies/universities worldwide.
We have an exciting agenda. The RSVP registration will close on Wed, August 23. It's free, but required. (On-site registration will be available, but expect delays.)
