AbstractThis study explores the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) for Security Education, Training and Awareness (SETA) programmes. Data is gathered from 20 key informants (using semi-structured interviews) from various geographic locations including the Gulf nations, Middle East, USA, UK, and Ireland. The analysis of these key informant interviews produces eleven CSFs for SETA programmes. These CSFs are mapped along the phases of a SETA programme lifecycle (design, development, implementation, and evaluation).
