USDOT Connected Vehicle PlugFest
PlugFests are events during which devices are tested for interoperability with emerging standards. They provide essential feedback to standardization organizations as well as to the developer community whose products are tested at the event. USDOT Connected Vehicle PlugFests allow for information exchange, sharing lessons learned, common technical platform development, and expansion of test bed options, supporting USDOT goals to transition connected vehicle technology research toward full deployment. Participation in PlugFest events is open to all companies, organizations and standards groups implementing the relevant standards.
Upcoming Events in 2014 include the Inaugural PlugFest: January 29-30, 2014, Turner Fairbank Highway Research Center, VA; a Midwestern PlugFest: March 2014, Novi, MI; and a Western PlugFest: June 2014, Palo Alto, CA. For more information, see http://www.its.dot.gov/testbed/plugFests.htm.
