Workshop Background and Goals

The CPSArch 2014 workshop (http://cpsarch.ecn.purdue.edu/) seeks original submissions on all topics related to hardware/software architectures and design methodologies for cyber-physical systems, including but not limited to:

Synthesis algorithms for cyber-physical systems
Platform-based design for cyber-physical systems
Geographically distributed cyber-physical systems
Cyber-physical system simulation
Architectural models for cyber-physical systems
Cyber-physical system testing and verification
Low power and energy efficient cyber-physical systems
Secure and reliable cyber-physical system architectures
Software architectures for cyber-physical systems
Domain-specific approaches for the design of cyber-physical systems
Application deployment studies in domains such as healthcare, energy, buildings, transportation

Submissions will be judged based on originality, technical merit, topical relevance, and likelihood of leading to insightful discussion at the workshop. Submissions must be in PDF format and should not exceed 6 single-spaced 8.5" x 11" pages, including all references, figures, and tables. Submissions must use the ACM template (available at the ACM web site) with a 10-point font on 12-point (single-spaced) leading, and a text block 6.5" wide x 9" tall. Submissions should not be anonymous and should include author names and affiliations. Papers that violate the length, formatting, or anonymity requirements will not be considered.

Papers must not have been published elsewhere and may not be simultaneously under submission at another venue, be it a workshop, symposium, conference, magazine, or journal. Papers accompanied by nondisclosure agreements will be returned without review. As customary with the scientific peer review process, submissions will be handled as confidential material during the review.
