The NUC has a WiFi/Bluetooth module soldered to the motherboard with the antenna integrated into the chassis. Since the NUC on the UAV is not in the chassis, do we have a solution for connecting an antenna to the Wifi/Bluetooth module?

The plan is to use the

The plan is to use the picostation (without the casing) for wifi communication, but we can indeed attach either the origininal antennas (on the original NUC casing, like you said), or preferably U.fl/IPEX to Rp-SMA pigtail and RP-SMA antenna.

Note that the same antenna type is also used for the telemetry module, and can be used for the picostation as well instead of the big white RP-SMA antenna.

EDIT: Here is an example antenna/pigtail combo. http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Antenna-RP-SMA-Bulkhead-Pigtail/dp/B007XVHQ9M

Alternative Amazon link for dual antenna kit

This one has two units, ideal for the NUC in my opinion. http://www.amazon.com/Wi-fi-Antenna-RP-SMA-Antennas-Cables/dp/B00A4I3AGE

EDIT: A lighter version (3dBi as opposed to 5dBi) is at http://www.amazon.com/Antenna-RP-SMA-Antennas-Hirose-Cables/dp/B00A4J9HBA
