University of Virginia seeks CPS candidates: 2 faculty positions, 2 research scientists, and 15 grad students

The University of Virginia has begun a multi-million dollar initiative to create a collaborative world-class center of research excellence in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). Last year, SEAS announced an 8-faculty cluster hire in CPS and construction will begin this year on a new, collaborative space called the Link Lab. The Link Lab is a cross-departmental research laboratory focused on CPS research with over a dozen faculty members from across 5 departments including Computer Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Systems and Information Engineering. As part of this initiative, we are seeking 2 new tenured/tenure track faculty members in CPS and Smart Cities this year. Additionally, we seek 2 new research scientists and at least 15 new graduate students who are excited to address the most critical problems at the intersection of the cyber and physical worlds.
