2018 Workshop on Modeling and Simulation of Cyber-Physical Energy Systems: 10 April 2018, Porto, Portugal

Dear Colleagues,

It is my pleasure to invite you to the upcoming Workshop on Modeling and Simulation of Cyber-Physical Energy Systems!

http://www.palensky.org/mscpes

After Berkeley, Berlin, Seattle, Vienna, and Pittsburgh, we are this time in beautiful Porto, Portugal, again co-located with the annual Cyber-Physical Systems Week.

Full paper submission deadline is 4th February 2018.

Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore digital library.

Modeling and simulation of complex, heterogeneous energy systems is difficult. Many aspects are unsolved. We have to join forces and exchange our ideas and our findings. The non exhaustive list of topics:

  • Hybrid modeling and simulation
  • Co-Simulation of multi-domain systems
  • Ontologies for energy systems
  • Applications of cyber-physical energy systems
  • Distributed algorithms and control
  • Standards in interfacing components
  • Formal languages for energy systems
  • Smart Grid modeling
  • Smart Cities modeling
  • Design of simulations/experiments

We welcome papers/presentations but also and especially live demonstrations of your code, concept, or method!

We hope to meet you in Porto, if there are any questions: drop us an email!
