“Combining Old and New to Create a Novel Power Grid Cybersecurity Tool”
A R&D project led by Berkeley Lab researchers aims to improve upon the protection of the electric power grid in the event of a cyberattack. The project incorporates cybersecurity, machine learning algorithms, and power system sensor devices to strengthen the resilience of the power distribution grid against cyberattacks. This article continues to discuss the development, support, goals, and major components of the project.
