Proof-of-Balance: Game-Theoretic Consensus for Controller Load Balancing of SDN. IEEE INFOCOM 2020 - IEEE Conference on Computer Communications Workshops (INFOCOM WKSHPS). :231–236.
.
2020. Software Defined Networking (SDN) focus on the isolation of control plane and data plane, greatly enhancing the network's support for heterogeneity and flexibility. However, although the programmable network greatly improves the performance of all aspects of the network, flexible load balancing across controllers still challenges the current SDN architecture. Complex application scenarios lead to flexible and changeable communication requirements, making it difficult to guarantee the Quality of Service (QoS) for SDN users. To address this issue, this paper proposes a paradigm that uses blockchain to incentive safe load balancing for multiple controllers. We proposed a controller consortium blockchain for secure and efficient load balancing of multi-controllers, which includes a new cryptographic currency balance coin and a novel consensus mechanism Proof-of-Balance (PoB). In addition, we have designed a novel game theory-based incentive mechanism to incentive controllers with tight communication resources to offload tasks to idle controllers. The security analysis and performance simulation results indicate the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
GST-GCN: A Geographic-Semantic-Temporal Graph Convolutional Network for Context-aware Traffic Flow Prediction on Graph Sequences. 2020 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC). :1604–1609.
.
2020. Traffic flow prediction is an important foundation for intelligent transportation systems. The traffic data are generated from a traffic network and evolved dynamically. So spatio-temporal relation exploration plays a support role on traffic data analysis. Most researches focus on spatio-temporal information fusion through a convolution operation. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work to suggest that it is necessary to distinguish the two aspects of spatial correlations and propose the two types of spatial graphs, named as geographic graph and semantic graph. Then two novel stereo convolutions with irregular acceptive fields are proposed. The geographic-semantic-temporal contexts are dynamically jointly captured through performing the proposed convolutions on graph sequences. We propose a geographic-semantic-temporal graph convolutional network (GST-GCN) model that combines our graph convolutions and GRU units hierarchically in a unified end-to-end network. The experiment results on the Caltrans Performance Measurement System (PeMS) dataset show that our proposed model significantly outperforms other popular spatio-temporal deep learning models and suggest the effectiveness to explore geographic-semantic-temporal dependencies on deep learning models for traffic flow prediction.
Differential Privacy Online Learning Based on the Composition Theorem. 2020 IEEE 10th International Conference on Electronics Information and Emergency Communication (ICEIEC). :200–203.
.
2020. Privacy protection is becoming more and more important in the era of big data. Differential privacy is a rigorous and provable privacy protection method that can protect privacy for a single piece of data. But existing differential privacy online learning methods have great limitations in the scope of application and accuracy. Aiming at this problem, we propose a more general and accurate algorithm, named DPOL-CT, for differential privacy online learning. We first distinguish the difference in differential privacy protection between offline learning and online learning. Then we prove that the DPOL-CT algorithm achieves (∊, δ)-differential privacy for online learning under the Gaussian, the Laplace and the Staircase mechanisms and enjoys a sublinear expected regret bound. We further discuss the trade-off between the differential privacy level and the regret bound. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the DPOL-CT algorithm has good performance guarantees.
