Despite the strict measures taken by authorities for children safety, crime against children is increasing. To curb this crime, it is important to improve the safety of children. School authorities can be severely penalized for these incidents, hence monitoring the school bus is significantly important in limiting these incidents. The developing worry of families for the security and insurance of their kids has started incredible interest in creating strong frameworks that give successful following and oversight of kids driving among home and school. Coordinated transport following permits youngsters to partake more in their normal schoolwork longer than trusting that a transport will be late with the assistance of notice and guarantees the security of every understudy. These days, reacting to the necessities existing apart from everything else, numerous instructive foundations have begun to push more towards a compelling global positioning framework of their vehicles that ensures the wellbeing of their understudies. Effective transport following is accomplished by procuring the geographic directions utilizing the GPS module and communicating the informationto a distant server. The framework depends on prepared to-utilize inactive RFID peruses. Make a message pop-up from the server script subsequent to checking the understudy's RFID tag be. The RFID examine exhibiting that the understudy boarded the vehicle to the specific trained professionals and the parent. Successful transport following permits school specialists, guardians, and drivers to precisely design their schedules while protecting kids from the second they get on until they get off the transport. The framework overall makes it conceivable to educate the administration regarding crises or protests. A variety of reports can be generated for different school-wide real-time bus and vehicle activities. This paper reviews the various smart security transport systems proposed for providing security features.

In recent years web applications that are hacked every day estimated to be 30 000, and in most cases, web developers or website owners do not even have enough knowledge about what is happening on their sites. Web hackers can use many attacks to gain entry or compromise legitimate web applications, they can also deceive people by using phishing sites to collect their sensitive and private information. In response to this, the need is raised to take proper measures to understand the risks and be aware of the vulnerabilities that may affect the website and hence the normal business flow. In the scope of this study, mitigations against the most common web application attacks are set, and the web administrator is provided with ways to detect phishing links which is a social engineering attack, the study also demonstrates the generation of web application logs that simplifies the process of analyzing the actions of abnormal users to show when behavior is out of bounds, out of scope, or against the rules. The methods of mitigation are accomplished by secure coding techniques and the methods for phishing link detection are performed by various machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques. The developed application has been tested and evaluated against various attack scenarios, the outcomes obtained from the test process showed that the website had successfully mitigated these dangerous web application attacks, and for the detection of phishing links part, a comparison is made between different algorithms to find the best one, and the outcome of the best model gave 98% accuracy.

Agana, Moses Adah, Edu, Joseph Ikpabi.  2021.  Predicting Cyber Attacks in a Proxy Server using Support Vector Machine (SVM) Learning Algorithm. 2021 IST-Africa Conference (IST-Africa). :1–11.
This study used the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm to predict Denial of Service (DoS) and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks on a proxy server. Proxy-servers are prone to attacks such as DoS and DDoS and existing detection and prediction systems are inefficient. Three convex optimization problems using the Gaussian, linear and non-linear kernel methods were solved using the SVM module to detect the attacks. The SVM module and proxy server were implemented in Python and javascript respectively and made to run on a local network. Four other computers running on the same network where made to each communicate with the proxy server (two dedicated to attack the server). The server was able to detect and filter out the malicious requests from the attacking clients. Hence, the SVM module can effectively predict cyber attacks and can be integrated into any server to detect such attacks for improved security.

Baolin, X., Minhuan, Z..  2020.  A Solution of Text Based CAPTCHA without Network Flow Consumption. 2020 IEEE 11th International Conference on Software Engineering and Service Science (ICSESS). :395—399.

With the widespread application of distributed information processing, information processing security issues have become one of the important research topics; CAPTCHA technology is often used as the first security barrier for distributed information processing and it prevents the client malicious programs to attack the server. The experiment proves that the existing “request / response” mode of CAPTCHA has great security risks. “The text-based CAPTCHA solution without network flow consumption” proposed in this paper avoids the “request / response” mode and the verification logic of the text-based CAPTCHA is migrated to the client in this solution, which fundamentally cuts off the client's attack facing to the server during the verification of the CAPTCHA and it is a high-security text-based CAPTCHA solution without network flow consumption.

Lavrenovs, A., Melón, F. J. R..  2018.  HTTP security headers analysis of top one million websites. 2018 10th International Conference on Cyber Conflict (CyCon). :345—370.
We present research on the security of the most popular websites, ranked according to Alexa's top one million list, based on an HTTP response headers analysis. For each of the domains included in the list, we made four different requests: an HTTP/1.1 request to the domain itself and to its "www" subdomain and two more equivalent HTTPS requests. Redirections were always followed. A detailed discussion of the request process and main outcomes is presented, including X.509 certificate issues and comparison of results with equivalent HTTP/2 requests. The body of the responses was discarded, and the HTTP response header fields were stored in a database. We analysed the prevalence of the most important response headers related to web security aspects. In particular, we took into account Strict- Transport-Security, Content-Security-Policy, X-XSS-Protection, X-Frame-Options, Set-Cookie (for session cookies) and X-Content-Type. We also reviewed the contents of response HTTP headers that potentially could reveal unwanted information, like Server (and related headers), Date and Referrer-Policy. This research offers an up-to-date survey of current prevalence of web security policies implemented through HTTP response headers and concludes that most popular sites tend to implement it noticeably more often than less popular ones. Equally, HTTPS sites seem to be far more eager to implement those policies than HTTP only websites. A comparison with previous works show that web security policies based on HTTP response headers are continuously growing, but still far from satisfactory widespread adoption.

Sattar, N. S., Adnan, M. A., Kali, M. B..  2017.  Secured aerial photography using Homomorphic Encryption. 2017 International Conference on Networking, Systems and Security (NSysS). :107–114.

Aerial photography is fast becoming essential in scientific research that requires multi-agent system in several perspective and we proposed a secured system using one of the well-known public key cryptosystem namely NTRU that is somewhat homomorphic in nature. Here we processed images of aerial photography that were captured by multi-agents. The agents encrypt the images and upload those in the cloud server that is untrusted. Cloud computing is a buzzword in modern era and public cloud is being used by people everywhere for its shared, on-demand nature. Cloud Environment faces a lot of security and privacy issues that needs to be solved. This paper focuses on how to use cloud so effectively that there remains no possibility of data or computation breaches from the cloud server itself as it is prone to the attack of treachery in different ways. The cloud server computes on the encrypted data without knowing the contents of the images. After concatenation, encrypted result is delivered to the concerned authority where it is decrypted retaining its originality. We set up our experiment in Amazon EC2 cloud server where several instances were the agents and an instance acted as the server. We varied several parameters so that we could minimize encryption time. After experimentation we produced our desired result within feasible time sustaining the image quality. This work ensures data security in public cloud that was our main concern.

Information security deals with a large number of subjects like spoofed message detection, audio processing, video surveillance and cyber-attack detections. However the biggest threat for the homeland security is cyber-attacks. Distributed Denial of Service attack is one among them. Interconnected systems such as database server, web server, cloud computing servers etc., are now under threads from network attackers. Denial of service is common attack in the internet which causes problem for both the user and the service providers. Distributed attack sources can be used to enlarge the attack in case of Distributed Denial of Service so that the effect of the attack will be high. Distributed Denial of Service attacks aims at exhausting the communication and computational power of the network by flooding the packets through the network and making malicious traffic in the network. In order to be an effective service the DDoS attack must be detected and mitigated quickly before the legitimate user access the attacker's target. The group of systems that is used to perform the DoS attack is known as the botnets. This paper introduces the overview of the state of art in DDoS attack detection strategies.

The term Cloud Computing is not something that appeared overnight, it may come from the time when computer system remotely accessed the applications and services. Cloud computing is Ubiquitous technology and receiving a huge attention in the scientific and industrial community. Cloud computing is ubiquitous, next generation's in-formation technology architecture which offers on-demand access to the network. It is dynamic, virtualized, scalable and pay per use model over internet. In a cloud computing environment, a cloud service provider offers “house of resources” includes applications, data, runtime, middleware, operating system, virtualization, servers, data storage and sharing and networking and tries to take up most of the overhead of client. Cloud computing offers lots of benefits, but the journey of the cloud is not very easy. It has several pitfalls along the road because most of the services are outsourced to third parties with added enough level of risk. Cloud computing is suffering from several issues and one of the most significant is Security, privacy, service availability, confidentiality, integrity, authentication, and compliance. Security is a shared responsibility of both client and service provider and we believe security must be information centric, adaptive, proactive and built in. Cloud computing and its security are emerging study area nowadays. In this paper, we are discussing about data security in cloud at the service provider end and proposing a network storage architecture of data which make sure availability, reliability, scalability and security.

Sarma, K.J., Sharma, R., Das, R..  2014.  A survey of Black hole attack detection in Manet. Issues and Challenges in Intelligent Computing Techniques (ICICT), 2014 International Conference on. :202-205.

MANET is an infrastructure less, dynamic, decentralised network. Any node can join the network and leave the network at any point of time. Due to its simplicity and flexibility, it is widely used in military communication, emergency communication, academic purpose and mobile conferencing. In MANET there no infrastructure hence each node acts as a host and router. They are connected to each other by Peer-to-peer network. Decentralised means there is nothing like client and server. Each and every node is acted like a client and a server. Due to the dynamic nature of mobile Ad-HOC network it is more vulnerable to attack. Since any node can join or leave the network without any permission the security issues are more challenging than other type of network. One of the major security problems in ad hoc networks called the black hole problem. It occurs when a malicious node referred as black hole joins the network. The black hole conducts its malicious behavior during the process of route discovery. For any received RREQ, the black hole claims having route and propagates a faked RREP. The source node responds to these faked RREPs and sends its data through the received routes once the data is received by the black hole; it is dropped instead of being sent to the desired destination. This paper discusses some of the techniques put forwarded by researchers to detect and prevent Black hole attack in MANET using AODV protocol and based on their flaws a new methodology also have been proposed.
