An effective response against information security violations in the technical systems remains relevant challenge nowadays, when their number, complexity, and the level of possible losses are growing. The violation can be caused by the set of the intruder's consistent actions. In the area of countermeasure selection for a proactive and reactive response against security violations, there are a large number of techniques. The techniques based on graph models seem to be promising. These models allow representing the set of actions caused the violation. Their advantages include the ability to forecast violations for timely decision-making on the countermeasures, as well as the ability to analyze and consider the coverage of countermeasures in terms of steps caused the violation. The paper proposes and describes a decision support method for responding against information security violations in the technical systems based on the graph models, as well as the developed models, including the countermeasure model and the graph representing the set of actions caused the information security violation.

Danyk, Y., Shestakov, V..  2018.  The detection of hybrid vulnerabilities and effects on the basis of analyzing the information activity in cyberspace. 2018 14th International Conference on Advanced Trends in Radioelecrtronics, Telecommunications and Computer Engineering (TCSET). :574–577.

The report presents the results of the investigations into the effects of the information hybrid threats through cyberspace on social, technical, socio and technical systems. The composition of the system of early efficient detection of the above hybrids is suggested. The results of the structural and parametric synthesis of the system are described. The recommendations related to the system implementation are given.

Pavlenko, P., Tavrov, D., Temnikov, V., Zavgorodniy, S., Temnikov, A..  2018.  The Method of Expert Evaluation of Airports Aviation Security Using Perceptual Calculations. 2018 IEEE 9th International Conference on Dependable Systems, Services and Technologies (DESSERT). :406–410.

One of the effective ways to improve the quality of airport security (AS) is to improve the quality of management of the state of the system for countering acts of unlawful interference by intruders into the airports (SCAUI), which is a set of AS employees, technical systems and devices used for passenger screening, luggage, other operational procedures, as well as to protect the restricted areas of the airports. Proactive control of the SCAUI state includes ongoing conducting assessment of airport AS quality by experts, identification of SCAUI elements (functional state of AS employees, characteristics of technical systems and devices) that have a predominant influence on AS, and improvement of their performance. This article presents principles of the model and the method for conducting expert quality assessment of airport AS, whose application allows to increase the efficiency and quality of AS assessment by experts, and, consequently, the quality of SCAUI state control.
