Xie, Xinjia, Guo, Yunxiao, Yin, Jiangting, Gai, Shun, Long, Han.  2022.  Research on Intellectual Property Protection of Artificial Intelligence Creation in China Based on SVM Kernel Methods. 2022 International Conference on Blockchain Technology and Information Security (ICBCTIS). :230–236.
Artificial intelligence creation comes into fashion and has brought unprecedented challenges to intellectual property law. In order to study the viewpoints of AI creation copyright ownership from professionals in different institutions, taking the papers of AI creation on CNKI from 2016 to 2021, we applied orthogonal design and analysis of variance method to construct the dataset. A kernel-SVM classifier with different kernel methods in addition to some shallow machine learning classifiers are selected in analyzing and predicting the copyright ownership of AI creation. Support vector machine (svm) is widely used in statistics and the performance of SVM method is closely related to the choice of the kernel function. SVM with RBF kernel surpasses the other seven kernel-SVM classifiers and five shallow classifier, although the accuracy provided by all of them was not satisfactory. Various performance metrics such as accuracy, F1-score are used to evaluate the performance of KSVM and other classifiers. The purpose of this study is to explore the overall viewpoints of AI creation copyright ownership, investigate the influence of different features on the final copyright ownership and predict the most likely viewpoint in the future. And it will encourage investors, researchers and promote intellectual property protection in China.
Li, Jinkai, Yuan, Jie, Xiao, Yue.  2022.  A traditional medicine intellectual property protection scheme based on Hyperledger Fabric. 2022 4th International Conference on Advances in Computer Technology, Information Science and Communications (CTISC). :1–5.
Due to its decentralized trust mechanism, blockchain is increasingly used as a trust intermediary for multi-party cooperation to reduce the cost and risk of maintaining centralized trust nowadays. And as the requirements for privacy and high throughput, consortium blockchain is widely used in data sharing and business cooperation in practical application scenarios. Nowadays, the protection of traditional medicine has been regarded as human intangible cultural heritage in recent years, but this kind of protection still faces the problem that traditional medicine prescriptions are unsuitable for disclosure and difficult to protect. Hyperledger is a consortium blockchain featuring authorized access, high throughput, and tamper-resistance, making it ideal for privacy protection and information depository in traditional medicine protection. This study proposes a solution for intellectual property protection of traditional medicine by using a blockchain platform to record prescription iterations and clinical trial data. The privacy and confidentiality of Hyperledger can keep intellectual property information safe and private. In addition, the author proposes to invite the Patent Offices and legal institutions to join the blockchain network, maintain users' properties and issue certificates, which can provide a legal basis for rights protection when infringement occurs. Finally, the researchers have built a system corresponding to the scheme and tested the system. The test outcomes of the system can explain the usability of the system. And through the test of system throughput, under low system configuration, it can reach about 200 query operations per second, which can meet the application requirements of relevant organizations and governments.

[Purpose/meaning] In this paper, a unified scheme based on blockchain technology to realize the three modules of intellectual property confirmation, utilization, and protection of rights at the application layer is constructed, to solve the problem of unbalanced and inadequate resource distribution and development level in the field of industrial intellectual property. [Method/process] Based on the application of the core technology of blockchain in the field of intellectual property, this paper analyzes the pain points in the current field of intellectual property, and selects matching blockchain types according to the protection of intellectual property and the different decisions involved in the transaction process, to build a heterogeneous multi-chain model based on blockchain technology. [Conclusion] The heterogeneous multi-chain model based on Polkadot[1] network is proposed to realize the intellectual property protection scheme of a heterogeneous multi-chain model, to promote collaborative design and product development between regions, and to make up for the shortcomings of technical exchange, and weaken the phenomenon of "information island" in a certain extent. [Limitation/deficiency] The design of smart contracts in the field of intellectual property, the development of cross-chain protocols, and the formulation of national standards for blockchain technology still need to be developed and improved. At the same time, the intellectual property protection model designed in this paper needs to be verified in the application of practical cases.

She, Cairui, Chen, Liwei, Shi, Gang.  2022.  TFCFI:Transparent Forward Fine-grained Control-Flow Integrity Protection. 2022 IEEE International Conference on Trust, Security and Privacy in Computing and Communications (TrustCom). :407—414.
Code-reuse attacks (including ROP/JOP) severely threaten computer security. Control-flow integrity (CFI), which can restrict control flow in legal scope, is recognised as an effective defence mechanism against code-reuse attacks. Hardware-based CFI uses Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) extensions with additional hardware modules to implement CFI and achieve better performance. However, hardware-based fine-grained CFI adds new instructions to the ISA, which can not be executed on old processors and breaks the compatibility of programs. Some coarse-grained CFI designs, such as Intel IBT, maintain the compatibility of programs but can not provide enough security guarantees. To balance the security and compatibility of hardware CFI, we propose Transparent Forward CFI (TFCFI). TFCFI implements hardware-based fine-grained CFI designs without changing the ISA. The software modification of TFCFI utilizes address information and hint instructions in RISC-V as transparent labels to mark the program. The hardware module of TFCFI monitors the control flow during execution. The program modified by TFCFI can be executed on old processors without TFCFI. Benefiting from transparent labels, TFCFI also solves the destination equivalence problem. The experiment on FPGA shows that TFCFI incurs negligible performance overhead (1.82% on average).

Populations move across regions in search of better living possibilities, better life outcomes or going away from problems that affected their lives in the previous region they lived in. In the United States of America, this problem has been happening over decades. Intelligent Conversational Text-based Agents, also called Chatbots, and Artificial Intelligence are increasingly present in our lives and over recent years, their presence has increased considerably, due to the usability cases and the familiarity they are wining constantly. Using NLP algorithms for law in accessible platforms allows scaling of users to access a certain level of law expert who could assist users in need. This paper describes the motivation and circumstances of this problem as well as the description of the development of an Intelligent Conversational Agent system that was used by immigrants in the USA so they could get answers to questions and get suggestions about better legal options they could have access to. This system has helped thousands of people, especially in California

Recent advances in deep learning typically, with the introduction of transformer based models has shown massive improvement and success in many Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks. One such area which has leveraged immensely is conversational agents or chatbots in open-ended (chit-chat conversations) and task-specific (such as medical or legal dialogue bots etc.) domains. However, in the era of automation, there is still a dearth of works focused on one of the most relevant use cases, i.e., tutoring dialog systems that can help students learn new subjects or topics of their interest. Most of the previous works in this domain are either rule based systems which require a lot of manual efforts or are based on multiple choice type factual questions. In this paper, we propose EDICA (Educational Domain Infused Conversational Agent), a language tutoring Virtual Agent (VA). EDICA employs two mechanisms in order to converse fluently with a student/user over a question and assist them to learn a language: (i) Student/Tutor Intent Classification (SIC-TIC) framework to identify the intent of the student and decide the action of the VA, respectively, in the on-going conversation and (ii) Tutor Response Generation (TRG) framework to generate domain infused and intent/action conditioned tutor responses at every step of the conversation. The VA is able to provide hints, ask questions and correct student's reply by generating an appropriate, informative and relevant tutor response. We establish the superiority of our proposed approach on various evaluation metrics over other baselines and state of the art models.

Nowadays, safety is a first-rate subject for all applications. There has been an exponential growth year by year in the number of businesses going digital since the few decades following the birth of the Internet. In these technologically advanced times, cyber security is a must mainly for internet applications, so we have the notion of diving deeper into the Cyber security domain and are determined to make a complete project. We aim to develop a website portal for ease of communication between us and the end user. Utilizing the power of python scripting and flask server to make independent automated tools for detection of SQLI, XSS & a Spider(Content Discovery Tool). We have also integrated skipfish as a website vulnerability scanner to our project using python and Kali Linux. Since conducting a penetration test on another website without permission is not legal, we thought of building a dummy website prone to OS Command Injection in addition to the above-mentioned attacks. A well-documented report will be generated after the penetration test/ vulnerability scan. In case the website is vulnerable, patching of the website will be done with the user's consent.

Rousseaux, Francis, Saurel, Pierre.  2016.  The legal debate about personal data privacy at a time of big data mining and searching: Making big data researchers cooperating with lawmakers to find solutions for the future. 2016 First IEEE International Conference on Computer Communication and the Internet (ICCCI). :354–357.
At the same time as Big Data technologies are being constantly refined, the legislation relating to data privacy is changing. The invalidation by the Court of Justice of the European Union on October 6, 2015, of the agreement known as “Safe Harbor”, negotiated by the European Commission on behalf of the European Union with the United States has two consequences. The first is to announce its replacement by a new, still fragile, program, the “Privacy Shield”, which isn't yet definitive and which could also later be repealed by the Court of Justice of the European Union. For example, we are expecting to hear the opinion in mid-April 2016 of the group of data protection authorities for the various states of the European Union, known as G29. The second is to mobilize the Big Data community to take control of the question of data privacy management and to put in place an adequate internal program.

Caramancion, Kevin Matthe.  2022.  Same Form, Different Payloads: A Comparative Vector Assessment of DDoS and Disinformation Attacks. 2022 IEEE International IOT, Electronics and Mechatronics Conference (IEMTRONICS). :1–6.
This paper offers a comparative vector assessment of DDoS and disinformation attacks. The assessed dimensions are as follows: (1) the threat agent, (2) attack vector, (3) target, (4) impact, and (5) defense. The results revealed that disinformation attacks, anchoring on astroturfs, resemble DDoS’s zombie computers in their method of amplification. Although DDoS affects several layers of the OSI model, disinformation attacks exclusively affect the application layer. Furthermore, even though their payloads and objectives are different, their vector paths and network designs are very similar. This paper, as its conclusion, strongly recommends the classification of disinformation as an actual cybersecurity threat to eliminate the inconsistencies in policies in social networking platforms. The intended target audiences of this paper are IT and cybersecurity experts, computer and information scientists, policymakers, legal and judicial scholars, and other professionals seeking references on this matter.

According to the characteristics of security threats and massive users in power mobile applications, a mobile application security situational awareness method based on big data architecture is proposed. The method uses open-source big data technology frameworks such as Kafka, Flink, Elasticsearch, etc. to complete the collection, analysis, storage and visual display of massive power mobile application data, and improve the throughput of data processing. The security situation awareness method of power mobile application takes the mobile terminal threat index as the core, divides the risk level for the mobile terminal, and predicts the terminal threat index through support vector machine regression algorithm (SVR), so as to construct the security profile of the mobile application operation terminal. Finally, through visualization services, various data such as power mobile applications and terminal assets, security operation statistics, security strategies, and alarm analysis are displayed to guide security operation and maintenance personnel to carry out power mobile application security monitoring and early warning, banning disposal and traceability analysis and other decision-making work. The experimental analysis results show that the method can meet the requirements of security situation awareness for threat assessment accuracy and response speed, and the related results have been well applied in a power company.

Cybersecurity insurance is one of the important means of cybersecurity risk management and the development of cyber insurance is inseparable from the support of cyber risk assessment technology. Cyber risk assessment can not only help governments and organizations to better protect themselves from related risks, but also serve as a basis for cybersecurity insurance underwriting, pricing, and formulating policy content. Aiming at the problem that cybersecurity insurance companies cannot conduct cybersecurity risk assessments on policyholders before the policy is signed without the authorization of the policyholder or in legal, combining with the need that cybersecurity insurance companies want to obtain network security vulnerability risk profiles of policyholders conveniently, quickly and at low cost before the policy signing, this study proposed a non-intrusive network security vulnerability risk assessment method based on ensemble machine learning. Our model uses only open source intelligence and publicly available network information data to rate cyber vulnerability risk of an organization, achieving an accuracy of 70.6% compared to a rating based on comprehensive information by cybersecurity experts.

KYC or Know Your Customer is the procedure to verify the individuality of its consumers & evaluating the possible dangers of illegitimate trade relations. A few problems with the existing KYC manual process are that it is less secure, time-consuming and expensive. With the advent of Blockchain technology, its structures such as consistency, security, and geographical diversity make them an ideal solution to such problems. Although marketing solutions such as KYC-chain.co, K-Y-C. The legal right to enable blockchain-based KYC authentication provides a way for documents to be verified by a trusted network participant. This project uses an ETHereum based Optimised KYC Block-chain system with uniform A-E-S encryption and compression built on the LZ method. The system publicly verifies a distributed encryption, is protected by cryptography, operates by pressing the algorithm and is all well-designed blockchain features. The suggested scheme is a novel explanation based on Distributed Ledger Technology or Blockchain technology that would cut KYC authentication process expenses of organisations & decrease the regular schedule for completion of the procedure whilst becoming easier for clients. The largest difference in the system in traditional methods is the full authentication procedure is performed in just no time for every client, regardless of the number of institutions you desire to be linked to. Furthermore, since DLT is employed, validation findings may be securely distributed to consumers, enhancing transparency. Based on this method, a Proof of Concept (POC) is produced with Ethereum's API, websites as endpoints and the android app as the front office, recognising the viability and efficacy of this technique. Ultimately, this strategy enhances consumer satisfaction, lowers budget overrun & promotes transparency in the customer transport network.

With the high development of Internet technology and the global impacts of Covid-19, a trend of multiple growth is being shown in the business of cross-border e-commerce. The issue of intellectual property rights becomes more obvious in this new mode of trade than in others. China's "14th Five-Year Plan" marked the beginning to implement the strategy of the intellectual property rights for a powerful country. Through the law-and-economics analysis, this paper analyzes the research reports of China's Intellectual Property Court and American Chamber of Commerce, and finds it essential for the cross-border e-commerce to attach great importance to the risk control and protection of property rights. After the analysis and research, on the possible risk of intellectual property rights faced by cross-border e-commerce, it is proposed that enterprises must not only pay attention to but also actively identify and conduct risk warning of the legal risks of their own intellectual property rights as well as the causes of them, so as to put forward corresponding risk control measures and construct prevention and protection mechanisms.

Küpper, Axel.  2021.  Decentralized Identifiers and Self-Sovereign Identity - A New Identity Management for 6G Integration? : MobileCloud 2021 Invited Talk 2021 IEEE International Conference on Joint Cloud Computing (JCC). :71–71.
Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) are emerging decentralized identity solutions. DIDs allow legal entities like organizations to create and fully control their identifiers while building the necessary infrastructure for SSI, enabling entities like persons, organizations, or machines to fully control and own their digital identities without the involvement of an intermediate central authority. DIDs are identifiers that are used to reference entities unambiguously and, together with DID Documents stored in a verifiable data registry, establish a new, decentralized public-key infrastructure. An SSI-based digital identity may be composed of many different claims certified by an issuer. Examples are the identity holder’s name, age, gender, university degree, driving license, or other attributes. What makes SSI unique compared to other identity management solutions is that the users keep their digital identities in storage of their choice and thus determine their distribution and processing. With this privacy-by-design approach, the emergence of DIDs and SSI can shape the architecture of the future Internet and its applications, which will impact the future of mobile networks. While 5G networks are currently being rolled out, a discussion about the new capabilities of 6G networks, which are still in the distant future, has long since begun. In addition to even faster access, shorter delays, and new applications, features such as human-centricity, data protection, and privacy are being addressed in particular in the discussions. These latter points make DIDs, SSI, and related concepts and architectures promising candidates for 6G adoption. The talk gives a brief introduction to DIDs and SSI and then discusses the benefits and drawbacks the integration of these technologies into 6G may have. Furthermore, the talk identifies different use cases and identifies the system components and functions of cellular networks affected by a 6G integration.

Yanrong, Wen.  2021.  Research of the Innovative Integration of Artificial Intelligence and Vocational Education in the New Ecology of Education. 2021 2nd International Conference on Education, Knowledge and Information Management (ICEKIM). :468—473.
The development of artificial intelligence will certainly fundamentally change the pattern of human work. With the promotion of top-level strategies, vocational education can only develop sustainably by integrating with science and technology. Artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science that studies the basic theories, methods and techniques of how to apply computer hardware and software to simulate certain intelligent human behaviors. Artificial intelligence applied to vocational education mainly focuses on resource network technology and integrated distributed intelligent system, which organically integrates various different expert systems (ES), management information systems (MIS), intelligent networks, decision support systems (DSS), databases, numerical computing packages and graphics processing programs to solve complex problems. Artificial intelligence will certainly empower vocational education and give rise to a vocational education revolution. In the process of continuous improvement of AI, it is a more practical approach to apply various already mature AI technologies to vocational education practice. Establishing an intelligent vocational education ecology enables traditional education and AI to complement each other's advantages and jointly promote the healthy and sustainable development of vocational education ecology.

The Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm, with its highly distributed and interconnected architecture, is gaining ground in Industry 4.0 and in critical infrastructures like the eHealth sector, the Smart Grid, Intelligent Power Plants and Smart Mobility. In these critical sectors, the preservation of metrological characteristics and their traceability is a strong legal requirement, just like cyber-security, since it offers the ground for liability. Any vulnerability in the system in which the metrological network is embedded can endanger human lives, the environment or entire economies. This paper presents a framework comprised of a methodology and some tools for the governance of the metrological chain. The proposed methodology combines the RAMI 4.0 model, which is a Reference Architecture used in the field of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), with the the Reference Model for Information Assurance & Security (RMIAS), a framework employed to guarantee information assurance and security, merging them with the well established paradigms to preserve calibration and referability of metrological instruments. Thus, metrological traceability and cyber-security are taken into account straight from design time, providing a conceptual space to achieve security by design and to support the maintenance of the metrological chain over the entire system lifecycle. The framework lends itself to be completely automatized with Model Checking to support automatic detection of non conformity and anomalies at run time.

With the development of deep learning and the progress of natural language processing technology, as well as the continuous disclosure of judicial data such as judicial documents, legal intelligence has gradually become a research hot spot. The crime classification task is an important branch of text classification, which can help people related to the law to improve their work efficiency. However, in the actual research, the sample data is small and the distribution of crime categories is not balanced. To solve these two problems, BERT was used as the encoder to solve the problem of small data volume, and attribute extraction network was added to solve the problem of unbalanced distribution. Finally, the accuracy of 90.35% on small sample data set could be achieved, and F1 value was 67.62, which was close to the best model performance under sufficient data. Finally, a text enhancement method based on back-translation technology is proposed. Different models are used to conduct experiments. Finally, it is found that LSTM model is improved to some extent, but BERT is not improved to some extent.
