An exciting network called smart IoT has great potential to improve the level of our daily activities and the communication. Source location privacy is one of the critical problems in the wireless sensor network (WSN). Privacy protections, especially source location protection, prevent sensor nodes from revealing valuable information about targets. In this paper, we first discuss about the current security architecture and attack modes. Then we propose a scheme based on cloud for protecting source location, which is named CPSLP. This proposed CPSLP scheme transforms the location of the hotspot to cause an obvious traffic inconsistency. We adopt multiple sinks to change the destination of packet randomly in each transmission. The intermediate node makes routing path more varied. The simulation results demonstrate that our scheme can confuse the detection of adversary and reduce the capture probability.

Becher, Kilian, Beck, Martin, Strufe, Thorsten.  2019.  An Enhanced Approach to Cloud-based Privacy-preserving Benchmarking. 2019 International Conference on Networked Systems (NetSys). :1–8.
Benchmarking is an important measure for companies to investigate their performance and to increase efficiency. As companies usually are reluctant to provide their key performance indicators (KPIs) for public benchmarks, privacy-preserving benchmarking systems are required. In this paper, we present an enhanced privacy-preserving benchmarking protocol, which we implemented and evaluated based on the real-world scenario of product cost optimisation. It is based on homomorphic encryption and enables cloud-based KPI comparison, providing a variety of statistical measures. The theoretical and empirical evaluation of our benchmarking system underlines its practicability.

Luo, Shaojie, Zhang, Lichen, Guo, Nannan.  2019.  Architecture of Cyber-Physical Systems Based on Cloud. 2019 IEEE 5th Intl Conference on Big Data Security on Cloud (BigDataSecurity), IEEE Intl Conference on High Performance and Smart Computing, (HPSC) and IEEE Intl Conference on Intelligent Data and Security (IDS). :251—257.

Cyber-Physical System (CPS) and Cloud Computing are emerging and important research fields in recent years. It is a current trend that CPS combines with Cloud Computing. Compared with traditional CPS, Cloud can improve its performance, but Cloud failures occur occasionally. The existing cloud-based CPS architectures rely too much on the Cloud, ignoring the risk and problems caused by Cloud failures, thus making the reliability of CPS not guaranteed. In order to solve the risk and problems above, spare parts are involved based on the research of cloud-based CPS. An architecture of cloud-based CPS with spare parts is proposed and two solutions for spare parts are designed. Agricultural intelligent temperature control system is used as an example to model and simulate the proposed architecture and solutions using Simulink. The simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed architecture and solutions, which enhance the reliability of cloud-based CPS.
