OSHA: A General-purpose and Next Generation One-way Secure Hash Algorithm. 2022 IEEE/ACIS 22nd International Conference on Computer and Information Science (ICIS). :25—33.
.
2022. Secure hash functions are widely used in cryptographic algorithms to secure against diverse attacks. A one-way secure hash function is used in the various research fields to secure, for instance, blockchain. Notably, most of the hash functions provide security based on static parameters and publicly known operations. Consequently, it becomes easier to attack by the attackers because all parameters and operations are predefined. The publicly known parameters and predefined operations make the oracle regenerate the key even though it is a one-way secure hash function. Moreover, the sensitive data is mixed with the predefined constant where an oracle may find a way to discover the key. To address the above issues, we propose a novel one-way secure hash algorithm, OSHA for short, to protect sensitive data against attackers. OSHA depends on a pseudo-random number generator to generate a hash value. Particularly, OSHA mixes multiple pseudo-random numbers to produce a secure hash value. Furthermore, OSHA uses dynamic parameters, which is difficult for adversaries to guess. Unlike conventional secure hash algorithms, OSHA does not depend on fixed constants. It replaces the fixed constant with the pseudo-random numbers. Also, the input message is not mixed with the pseudo-random numbers; hence, there is no way to recover and reverse the process for the adversaries.

.
2021. In this paper, internet is among the basic necessities of life. Internet has changed each and everybody's lives. So confidentiality of messages is very important over the internet. Steganography is the science of sending secret messages between the sender and intended receiver. It is such a technique that makes the exchange of covert messages possible. Each time a carrier is to be used for achieving steganography. The carrier plays a major role in establishing covert communication channel. This survey paper introduces steganography and its carriers. This paper concentrates on network protocols to be used as a carrier of steganograms. There are a number of protocols available to do so in the networks. Network steganography describes various methods used for transmitting data over a network without it being detected. Most of the methods proposed for hiding data in a network do not offer an additional protection to the covert data as it is sent as plain text. This paper presents a framework that offers the protection to the covert data by encrypting it and compresses it for gain in efficiency.

A New LWE-based Homomorphic Encryption Algorithm over Integer. 2021 International Conference on Computer Information Science and Artificial Intelligence (CISAI). :521–525.
.
2021. The design of public-key cryptography algorithm based on LWE hard problem is a hot topic in the field of post-quantum cryptography. In this paper, we design a new homomorphic encryption algorithm based on LWE problem. Firstly, to solve the problem that the existing encryption algorithms can only encrypt a single 0 or 1 bit, a new encryption algorithm based on LWE over integer is proposed, and its correctness and security are proved by theoretical analysis. Secondly, an additive homomorphism algorithm is constructed based on the algorithm, and the correctness of the algorithm is proved. The homomorphism algorithm can carry out multi-level homomorphism addition under certain parameters. Finally, the public key cryptography algorithm and homomorphic encryption algorithm are simulated through experiments, which verifies the correctness of the algorithm again, and compares the efficiency of the algorithm with existing algorithms. The experimental data shows that the algorithm has certain efficiency advantages.

.
2021. The security of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has become a matter of great concern in recent years. The existence of security holes in the executable programs in the IoT devices has resulted in difficult to estimate security risks. For a long time, vulnerability detection is mainly completed by manual debugging and analysis, and the detection efficiency is low and the accuracy is difficult to guarantee. In this paper, the mainstream automated vulnerability analysis methods in recent years are studied, and a vulnerability detection algorithm based on symbol execution is presented. The detection algorithm is suitable for lightweight applications in small and medium-sized IoT devices. It realizes three functions: buffer overflow vulnerability detection, encryption reliability detection and protection state detection. The robustness of the detection algorithm was tested in the experiment, and the detection of overflow vulnerability program was completed within 2.75 seconds, and the detection of encryption reliability was completed within 1.79 seconds. Repeating the test with multiple sets of data showed a small difference of less than 6.4 milliseconds. The results show that the symbol execution detection algorithm presented in this paper has high detection efficiency and more robust accuracy and robustness.
Conversion of the Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange Algorithm Based on Elliptic Curve Equations to Elliptic Curve Equations with Private Parameters. 2021 International Conference on Information Science and Communications Technologies (ICISCT).
.
2021. The advantage of cryptographic systems based on elliptical curves over traditional systems is that they provide equivalent protection even when the key length used is small. This reduces the load time of the processors of the receiving and transmitting devices. But the development of computer technology leads to an increase in the stability of the cryptosystem, that is, the length of the keys. This article presents a method for converting elliptic curve equations to hidden parameter elliptic curve equations to increase stability without increasing key length.
Algebraic structure of parametric elliptic curves. 2021 International Conference on Information Science and Communications Technologies (ICISCT). :01—03.
.
2021. The advantage of elliptic curve (EC) cryptographic systems is that they provide equivalent security even with small key lengths. However, the development of modern computing technologies leads to an increase in the length of keys. In this case, it is recommended to use a secret parameter to ensure sufficient access without increasing the key length. To achieve this result, the initiation of an additional secret parameter R into the EC equation is used to develop an EC-based key distribution algorithm. The article describes the algebraic structure of an elliptic curve with a secret parameter.

Network Information Security Pipeline Based on Grey Relational Cluster and Neural Networks. 2021 5th International Conference on Computing Methodologies and Communication (ICCMC). :971–975.
.
2021. Network information security pipeline based on the grey relational cluster and neural networks is designed and implemented in this paper. This method is based on the principle that the optimal selected feature set must contain the feature with the highest information entropy gain to the data set category. First, the feature with the largest information gain is selected from all features as the search starting point, and then the sample data set classification mark is fully considered. For the better performance, the neural networks are considered. The network learning ability is directly determined by its complexity. The learning of general complex problems and large sample data will bring about a core dramatic increase in network scale. The proposed model is validated through the simulation.
Comment and Improvement on Two Aggregate Signature Schemes for Smart Grid and VANET in the Learning of Network Security. 2020 International Conference on Information Science and Education (ICISE-IE). :338–341.
.
2020. Smart substation and Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET) are two important applications of aggregate signature scheme. Due to the large number of data collection equipment in substation, it needs security authentication and integrity protection to transmit data. Similarly, in VANET, due to limited resources, it has the needs of privacy protection and improving computing efficiency. Aggregate signature scheme can satisfy the above these needs and realize one-time verification of signature for multi-terminal data collection which can improve the performance. Aggregate signature scheme is an important technology to solve network security problem. Recently, many aggregate signature schemes are proposed which can be applied in smart grid or VANET. In this paper, we present two security analyses on two aggregate signature schemes proposed recently. By analysis, it shows that the two aggregate signature schemes do not satisfy the security property of unforgeability. A malicious user can forge a signature on any message. We also present some improved methods to solve these security problems with better performance. From security analysis to improvement of aggregate signature scheme, it is very suitable to be an instance to exhibit the students on designing of security aggregate signature scheme for network security education or course.
Comparison of Full-Text Articles and Abstracts for Visual Trend Analytics through Natural Language Processing. 2020 24th International Conference Information Visualisation (IV). :360–367.
.
2020. Scientific publications are an essential resource for detecting emerging trends and innovations in a very early stage, by far earlier than patents may allow. Thereby Visual Analytics systems enable a deep analysis by applying commonly unsupervised machine learning methods and investigating a mass amount of data. A main question from the Visual Analytics viewpoint in this context is, do abstracts of scientific publications provide a similar analysis capability compared to their corresponding full-texts? This would allow to extract a mass amount of text documents in a much faster manner. We compare in this paper the topic extraction methods LSI and LDA by using full text articles and their corresponding abstracts to obtain which method and which data are better suited for a Visual Analytics system for Technology and Corporate Foresight. Based on a easy replicable natural language processing approach, we further investigate the impact of lemmatization for LDA and LSI. The comparison will be performed qualitative and quantitative to gather both, the human perception in visual systems and coherence values. Based on an application scenario a visual trend analytics system illustrates the outcomes.
Trusted Virtual Network Function Based on vTPM. 2020 7th International Conference on Information Science and Control Engineering (ICISCE). :1484–1488.
.
2020. Mobile communication technology is developing rapidly, and this is integrated with technologies such as Software Defined Network (SDN), cloud computing, and Network Function Virtualization (NFV). Network Functions (NFs) are no longer deployed on dedicated hardware devices, while deployed in Virtual Machines (VMs) or containers as Virtual Network Functions (VNFs). If VNFs are tampered with or replaced, the communication system will not function properly. Our research is to enhance the security of VNFs using trusted computing technology. By adding Virtual Trusted Platform Module (vTPM) to the virtualization platform, the chain of trust extends from the VM operating system to VNFs within the VM. Experimental results prove that the solution can effectively protect the integrity of VNFs from being attacked.
