Securing communication and information is known as cryptography. To convert messages from plain text to cipher text and the other way around. It is the process of protecting the data and sending it to the right audience so they can understand and process it. Hence, unauthorized access is avoided. This work suggests leveraging DNA technology for encrypt and decrypt the data. The main aim of utilizing the AES in this stage will transform ASCII code to hexadecimal to binary coded form and generate DNA. The message is encrypted with a random key. Shared key used for encrypt and decrypt the data. The encrypted data will be disguised as an image using steganography. To protect our data from hijackers, assailants, and muggers, it is frequently employed in institutions, banking, etc.

This is the time of internet, and we are communicating our confidential data over internet in daily life. So, it is necessary to check the authenticity in communication to stop non-repudiation, of the sender. We are using the digital signature for stopping the non-repudiation. There are many versions of digital signature are available in the market. But in every algorithm, we are sending the original message and the digest message to the receiver. Hence, there is no security applied on the original message. In this paper we are proposed an algorithm which can secure the original and its integrity. In this paper we are using the RSA algorithm as the encryption and decryption algorithm, and SHA256 algorithm for making the hash.

While 5G Edge Computing along with IoT technology has transformed the future of healthcare data transmission, it presents security vulnerabilities and risks when transmitting patients' confidential information. Currently, there are very few reliable security solutions available for healthcare data that routes through SDN routers in 5G Edge Computing. These solutions do not provide cryptographic security from IoT sensor devices. In this paper, we studied how 5G edge computing integrated with IoT network helps healthcare data transmission for remote medical treatment, explored security risks associated with unsecured data transmission, and finally proposed a cryptographic end-to-end security solution initiated at IoT sensor devices and routed through SDN routers. Our proposed solution with cryptographic security initiated at IoT sensor goes through SDN control plane and data plane in 5G edge computing and provides an end-to-end secured communication from IoT device to doctor's office. A prototype built with two-layer encrypted communication has been lab tested with promising results. This analysis will help future security implementation for eHealth in 5G and beyond networks.

Anayt.  2021.  Implementation of Android Based Text to Image Steganography Using 512-Bit Algorithm with LSB Technique. 2021 5th International Conference on Electrical Information and Communication Technology (EICT). :1—6.
Steganography security is the main concern in today’s informative world. The fact is that communication takes place to hide information secretly. Steganography is the technique of hiding secret data within an ordinary, non-secret, file, text message and images. This technique avoids detection of the secret data then extracted at its destination. The main reason for using steganography is, we can hide any secret message behind its ordinary file. This work presents a unique technique for image steganography based on a 512-bit algorithm. The secure stego image is a very challenging task to give protection. Therefore we used the least significant bit (LSB) techniques for implementing stego and cover image. However, data encryption and decryption are used to embedded text and replace data into the least significant bit (LSB) for better approaches. Android-based interface used in encryption-decryption techniques that evaluated in this process.Contribution—this research work with 512-bit data simultaneously in a block cipher to reduce the time complexity of a system, android platform used for data encryption decryption process. Steganography model works with stego image that interacts with LSB techniques for data hiding.

The data-driven period produces more and more security-related challenges that even experts can hardly deal with. One of the most complex threats is ransomware, which is very taxing and devastating to detect and mainly prevent. Our research methods showed significant results in identifying ransomware processes using the honeypot concept augmented with symbolic linking to reduce damage made to the file system. The CIA (confidentiality, integrity, availability) metrics have been adhered to. We propose to optimize the malware process termination procedure and introduce an artificial intelligence-human collaboration to enhance ransomware classification and detection.

Cloud computing has revolutionized the way how users store, process, and use data. It has evolved over the years to put forward various sophisticated models that offer enhanced performance. The growth of electronic data stored in the Cloud has made it crucial to access data without data loss and leakage. Security threats still prevent significant corporations that use sensitive data to employ cloud computing to handle their data. Traditional cryptographic techniques like DES, AES, etc... provide data confidentiality but are computationally complex. To overcome such complexities, a unique field of cryptography known as DNA Cryptography came into existence. DNA cryptography is a new field of cryptography that utilizes the chemical properties of DNA for secure data encoding. DNA cryptographic algorithms are much faster than traditional cryptographic methods and can bring about greater security with lesser computational costs. In this paper, we have proposed an enhanced DNA cryptosystem involving operations such as encryption, encoding table generation, and decryption based on the chemical properties of DNA. The performance analysis has proven that the proposed DNA cryptosystem is secure and efficient in Cloud data storage.

Cloud computing has changed how humans use their technological expertise. It indicates a transition in the use of computers as utilitarian instruments with radical applications in general. However, as technology advances, the number of hazards increases and crucial data protection has become increasingly challenging due to extensive internet use. Every day, new encryption methods are developed, and much research is carried out in the search for a reliable cryptographic algorithm. The AES algorithm employs an overly simplistic algebraic structure. Each block employs the same encryption scheme, and AES is subject to brute force and MITM attacks. AES have not provide d sufficient levels of security; the re is still a need to put further le vels of protection over them. In this regard, DNA cryptography allows you to encrypt a large quantity of data using only a few amount of DNA. This paper combines two methodologies, a DNA-based algorithm and the AES Algorithm, to provide a consi derably more secure data security platform. The DNA cryptography technology and the AES approach are utilized for data encryption and decryption. To improve cloud security, DNA cryptography and AES provide a technologically ideal option.

The transmission of various facilities and services via the network is known as cloud computing. They involve data storage, data centers, networks, internet, and software applications, among other systems and features. Cryptography is a technique in which plain text is converted into cipher-text to preserve information security. It basically consists of encryption and decryption. The level of safety is determined by the category of encryption and decryption technique employed. The key plays an important part in the encryption method. If the key is leaked, anyone can intrude into the data and there is no use of this encryption. When the data is lost and the server fails to deliver it to the user, then it is to be recovered from any of the backup server using a recovery technique. The main objective is to develop an advanced method to increase the scope for data protection in cloud. Elliptic Curve Cryptography is a relatively new approach in the area of cryptography. The degree of security provides higher as compared to other Cryptographic techniques. The raw data and it’s accompanying as CII characters are combined and sent into the Elliptic Curve Cryptography as a source. This method eliminates the need for the transmitter and recipient to have a similar search database. Finally, a plain text is converted into cipher-text using Elliptic Curve Cryptography. The results are oat aimed by implementing a C program for Elliptic Curve Cryptography. Encryption, decryption and recovery using suitable algorithms are done.

Securing data, management of the authorised access of the user and maintaining the privacy of the data are some of the problems relating with the stored data in the database. The security of the data stored is considered as the major concern which is to be managed in a very serious manner as the users are sensitive about their shared data. The user's data can be protected by the process of cryptography which is considered as the conventional method. Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Data Encryption Standard(DES), Two Fish, Rivest Shamir Adleman Algorithm (RSA), Attribute Based Encryption (ABE), Blowfish algorithms are considered as some of the cryptographic algorithms. These algorithms are classified into symmetric and asymmetric algorithms. Same key is used for the encryption and decoding technique in symmetric key cryptographic algorithm whereas two keys are used for the asymmetric ones. In this paper, the implementation of one of the asymmetric algorithm RSA with the educational dataset is done. To secure the distributed database, the extended version of the RSA algorithm is implemented as the proposed work.

Security in today's world is one of the most important considerations when one wants to send, receive and store files containing private information or files simply too large for an email attachment. People are becoming more and more dependent on their mobile phones for performing the mentioned critical functionalities. Therefore, it is very important to protect sensitive information when the mobile is lost or stolen. There are many algorithms and methods used to accomplish data security in mobile devices. In general, cryptography and steganography are two common methods used to secure communications. Recently, the field of biology has been combined with the field of cryptography to produce a new field called deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) cryptography which is one of the most powerful tools to solve security problems. This paper proposes a DNA cryptography technique for securing data stored offline in the Android device where users are not aware of the confidentiality of their private data. It is very difficult to predict the one-time pad key that is used as randomly generated and just for one-time. The proposed algorithm uses DNA mapping for dealing with the data as a DNA sequence. Two approaches have been proposed for achieving desired outcomes.

RSA is a popular asymmetric key algorithm with two keys scheme, a public key for encryption and private key for decryption. RSA has weaknesses in encryption and decryption of data, including slow in the process of encryption and decryption because it uses a lot of number generation. The reason is RSA algorithm can work well and is resistant to attacks such as brute force and statistical attacks. in this paper, it aims to strengthen the scheme by combining RSA with the One Time Pad algorithm so that it will bring up a new design to be used to enhance security on two-factor authentication. Contribution in this paper is to find a new scheme algorithm for an enhanced scheme of RSA. One Time Pad and RSA can combine as well.

Cloud computing provides an open architecture and resource sharing computing platform with pay-per-use model. It is now a popular computing platform and most of the new internet based computing services are on this innovation supported environment. We consider it as innovation supported because developers are more focused here on the service design, rather on arranging the infrastructure, network, management of the resources, etc. These all things are available in cloud computing on hired basis. Now, a big question arises here is the security of data or privacy of data because the service provider is already using the infrastructure, network, storage, processors, and other more resources from the third party. So, the security or privacy of the portable user's data is the main motivation for writing this research paper. In this paper, we are proposing an innovative perturbation algorithm MAP() to secure the portable user's data on the cloud server.

Cloud computing has made the life of individual users and work of business corporations so much easier by providing them data storage services at very low costs. Individual users can store and access their data through shared cloud storage service anywhere anytime. Similarly, business corporation consumers of cloud computing can store, manage, process and access their big data with quite an ease. However, the security and privacy of users' data remains vulnerable in cloud computing Availability, integrity and confidentiality are the three primary elements that users consider before signing up for cloud computing services. Many public and private cloud services have experienced security breaches and unauthorized access incidents. This paper suggests user end cryptography of data before uploading it to a cloud storage service platform like Google Drive, Microsoft, Amazon and CloudSim etc. The proposed cryptography algorithm is based on symmetric key cryptography model and has been implemented on Amazon S3 cloud space service.

Adaptation of e-commerce in third world countries requires more secure computing facilities. Online data is vulnerable and susceptible to active attacks. Hundreds of security mechanisms and services have been proposed to curb this challenge. However, available security mechanisms, sufficiently strong, are heavy for the machines used. To secure online data where machines' processing power and memory are deficient, a Hybrid Encryption Standard (HES) is proposed. The HES is built on the Data Encryption Standard (DES) algorithm and its siblings. The component units of the DES are redesigned towards reduced demands for processing power and memory. Precisely, white box designs of IP tables, PC tables, Expansion tables, Rotation tables, S-boxes and P-boxes are proposed, all aimed at reducing the processing time and memory demands. Evaluation of the performance of the HES algorithm against the performance of the traditional DES algorithm reveal that the HES out-performs the DES with regards to speed, memory demands, and general acceptance by novice practitioners in the cryptography field. In addition, reproducibility and flexibility are attractive features of the HES over the DES.

The usage of wireless devices is increased from last decade due to its reliable, fast and easy transfer of data. Ensuring the security to these networks is a crucial thing. There are several types of network attacks, in this paper, DDoS attacks on networks and techniques, consequences, effects and prevention methods are focused on. The DDoS attack is carried out by multiple attackers on a system which floods the system with a greater number of incoming requests to the system. The destination system cannot immediately respond to the huge requests, due to this server crashes or halts. To detect, or to avoid such scenarios Intrusion prevention system is designed. The IPS block the network attacker at its first hop and thus reduce the malicious traffic near its source. Intrusion detection system prevents the attack without the prior knowledge of the attacker. The attack is detected at the router side and path is changed to transfer the files. The proposed model is designed to obtain the dynamic path for efficient transmission in wireless neworks.

Cloud is the perfect way to hold our data every day. Yet the confidentiality of our data is a big concern in the handling of cloud data. Data integrity, authentication and confidentiality are basic security threats in the cloud. Cryptography techniques and Third Party Auditor (TPA) are very useful to impose the integrity and confidentiality of data. In this paper, a system is proposed Enhancing data protection that is housed in cloud computing. The suggested solution uses the RSA algorithm and the AES algorithm to encrypt user data. The hybridization of these two algorithms allows better data protection before it is stored in the cloud. Secure hash algorithm 512 is used to compute the Hash Message Authentication Code (HMAC). A stable audit program is also introduced for Third Party Auditor (TPA) use. The suggested algorithm is applied in python programming and tested in a simple sample format. It is checked that the proposed algorithm functions well to guarantee greater data protection.

Kalaichelvi, T., Apuroop, P..  2020.  Image Steganography Method to Achieve Confidentiality Using CAPTCHA for Authentication. 2020 5th International Conference on Communication and Electronics Systems (ICCES). :495—499.

Steganography is a data hiding technique, which is generally used to hide the data within a file to avoid detection. It is used in the police department, detective investigation, and medical fields as well as in many more fields. Various techniques have been proposed over the years for Image Steganography and also attackers or hackers have developed many decoding tools to break these techniques to retrieve data. In this paper, CAPTCHA codes are used to ensure that the receiver is the intended receiver and not any machine. Here a randomized CAPTCHA code is created to provide additional security to communicate with the authenticated user and used Image Steganography to achieve confidentiality. For achieving secret and reliable communication, encryption and decryption mechanism is performed; hence a machine cannot decode it using any predefined algorithm. Once a secure connection has been established with the intended receiver, the original message is transmitted using the LSB algorithm, which uses the RGB color spectrum to hide the image data ensuring additional encryption.

The current paper is proposing a three-factor authentication (3FA) scheme based on three components. In the first component a token and a password will be generated (this module represents the kernel of the three-factor authentication scheme - 3FA). In the second component a pass-code will be generated, using to the token resulted in the first phase. We will use RSA for encryption and decryption of the generated values (token and pass-code). For the token ID and passcode the user will use his smartphone. The third component uses a searchable encryption scheme, whose purpose is to retrieve the documents of the user from the cloud server, based on a keyword and his/her fingerprint. The documents are stored encrypted on a mistrust server (cloud environment) and searchable encryption will help us to search specific information and to access those documents in an encrypted content. We will introduce also a software simulation developed in C\# 8.0 for our scheme and a source code analysis for the main algorithms.

Reyad, O., Karar, M., Hamed, K..  2020.  Random Bit Generator Mechanism Based on Elliptic Curves and Secure Hash Function. 2019 International Conference on Advances in the Emerging Computing Technologies (AECT). :1–6.
Pseudorandom bit generators (PRBG) can be designed to take the advantage of some hard number theoretic problems such as the discrete logarithm problem (DLP). Such type of generators will have good randomness and unpredictability properties as it is so difficult to find an easy solution to the regarding mathematical dilemma. Hash functions in turn play a remarkable role in many cryptographic tasks to achieve various security strengths. In this paper, a pseudorandom bit generator mechanism that is based mainly on the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem (ECDLP) and hash derivation function is proposed. The cryptographic hash functions are used in consuming applications that require various security strengths. In a good hash function, finding whatever the input that can be mapped to any pre-specified output is considered computationally infeasible. The obtained pseudorandom bits are tested with NIST statistical tests and it also could fulfill the up-to-date standards. Moreover, a 256 × 256 grayscale images are encrypted with the obtained pseudorandom bits following by necessary analysis of the cipher images for security prove.

Hence, we propose DEAVD protocol for secure data exchange with limited usage of energy. The DEAVD protocol compresses data to reduces the energy consumption and implements an energy efficient encryption and decryption technique using voronoi diagram paradigm. Thus, there is an improvement in the proposed protocol with respect to security due to the concept adapted during data encryption and aggregation.
