PUBLIC ACCOMPLISHMENT HIGHLIGHTS:
In this quarter, we performed the following research/educational tasks:

• We discovered a new denial-of-service attack vector on shared caches in multicore and proposed an OS-level solution to address such DoS attacks. The result was reported in a paper, titled "Denial-of-Service Attacks on Shared Cache in Multicore: Analysis and Prevention," which was submitted in October and accepted in December for publication at RTAS 2019.
• We developed a data-centric Spectre attack defense mechanism. The result was written in a paper, which was submitted to a conference in November and is currently under review.
• We demo-ed our DeepPicar testbed at the open demo session of IEEE RTSS'18 (RTSS@Work) in December.
