KEY HIGHLIGHTS
Michael Tschantz (ICSI) and Helen Nissenbaum (Cornell Tech) have refined their model of context in a formal representation similar to an MDP. The new model includes the possibility of values coming from global context, to model deontological approaches to ethics.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTS
Nissenbaum helped to organize the 2nd Annual Symposium on Applications of Contextual Integrity at UC Berkeley, where many of these issues were discussed, and where Tschantz presented "Using MDPs to Model Contextual Integrity", August 2019.
Nissenbaum also gave the talk "Contextual Integrity", Keynote presentation, CRYPTO 2019, Santa Barbara, CA, August 2019
