WF-IoT 2020 - Postponed to 2021
COVID-19 UPDATE
We are sorry to announce that WFIoT2020, scheduled to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana will be postponed with a goal of rescheduling to 2021 in New Orleans. We will announce the new Conference dates and confirm the location as soon as we are able.
We will hold a "Virtual IoT Forum" in which authors whose papers were reviewed and accepted to WFIoT2020 can present and subsequently be published in IEEE Xplore. Alternatively, authors can choose to withdraw their papers and submit them to the 2021 conference. We will also hold a "Virtual PhD/Masters Forum" as a stand-alone event for those who submitted papers to WFIoT2020.
The IoT Day Slam2020 will be held as scheduled on April 9th, 2020 but will be a virtual event. If you agreed to be a speaker for one of the Virtual and Topical Tracks, we encourage you to let us know if you would like to participate in the Virtual IoT Day Slam2020 Program instead.
World Forum on The Internet of Things (WF-IoT 2020)
The 2020 IEEE 6th World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT 2020) is the premier conference for the IEEE IoT Initiative and consists of the most outstanding participants from the research community, the public sector, and industry. The theme of the Conference is "Internet of Intelligent Things". The papers, presentations, and events at the conference are focused on contributions to nurture, cultivate, enhance and accelerate the adoption of IoT technologies and applications for the benefit of society. In the past year, the Internet of Things has experienced significant growth in the number of deployments, in the resource investment from both industry and governments, and in attention from technologists in almost every discipline. The term IoT captures the vision of a connected world where things, people, and their institutions can interact purposefully to create better lives and sustainable stewardship of the planet.
The 2020 IEEE 6th World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT 2020) brings the latest from the research and academic community. It includes a broad program of papers and presentations on the latest technology developments and innovations in the many fields and disciplines that drive the utility and vitality of IoT solutions and applications. After extensive peer review, the best of the proposals will be selected for the conference program, which includes technical papers, tutorials workshops and industry sessions designed specifically to advance technologies, end to end solutions, systems and infrastructure, processes, and operating methods, that are contributing to how IoT can reshape the world and overcome the challenges we face, so that all individuals can participate in and enjoy life to the fullest.
The program also contains strong involvement from the public sector and industry aimed at deepening the understanding, the necessary dialog, and actions needed to accelerate the adoption and deployment of IoT. We have selected well-known Chairs, who can be contacted directly, to create sessions on issues of regional and global importance and to seek prominent and knowledgeable speakers and panelists for the program. For the subjects of interest at the conference we have picked six Vertical and six Topical Areas:
IoT Vertical Sessions
