KEY HIGHLIGHTS
Each effort should submit one or two specific highlights. Each item should include a paragraph or two along with a citation if available. Write as if for the general reader of IEEE S&P.
The purpose of the highlights is to give our immediate sponsors a body of evidence that the funding they are providing (in the framework of the SoS lablet model) is delivering results that "more than justify" the investment they are making.
- Conducted interviews with experts that yielded valuable insights and knowledge into what makes cybersecurity research scientific.
- The interviews have revealed the scope of information the rubric will have to contain to address different types of cybersecurity research papers.
- Our engagement with the community has been frequent and largely positive in regards to the project goals.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTS
We have interviewed seven people from the SoSL community, most of whom are members of the lablets. Our future interviews will be with other lablet members, associate lablet members, and with other researchers suggested by the interviewees.
