Visible to the public NCSU Science of Security Community Meeting

In 2010, the NSA formulated academic "Lablets" focused on the development of a Science of Security (SoS) and a broad, self-sustaining community effort to advnace it. The North Carolina State University (NCSU), the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Carnegie Mellon University were name NSA SoS lablets. Researchers at the three schools began working on fundamental science of security work. In March, NCSU held the first NCSU Science of Security Community meeting: http://research.csc.ncsu.edu/security/lablet/events/mar_2013. NCSU will be hosting a similar event on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in Room 3211 Engineering Building II on the NC State University Centennial Campus. The Forum Luncheon will be in Rooms 3001 & 3002 of Engineering Building II. The Forum will feature short presentations from students and faculty highlighting the many research projects currently operating within the Lablet. A poster session will offer our guests the opportunity to talk one-on-one with students and faculty about their research projects and opportunities for collaboration.
