KEY HIGHLIGHTS

This quarter, we planned and conducted a virtual focus group with four subject matter experts. The goal of the focus group was to gather additional feedback on an early version of reviewing guidelines. Before the focus group meeting, we had participants individually analyze the guidelines by applying them to a paper of their choice. During the focus group, we guided the participant discussion about the effectiveness and clarity of the guidelines for use in their particular research area within cyber security.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTS

  • We performed a virtual focus-group with four subject matter experts who discussed the effectiveness of the guidelines when reporting cyber security research, specifically focusing on their area of expertise within cyber security research.
