Visible to the public Addressing Design and Human Factors Challenges in Cyber-Transportation Systems

Abstract:

Hundreds of millions of people travel in vehicles every day around the world. How to improve road safety and efficiency using cyber technologies (such as connected vehicles) is a critical issue in today's society. We have been working on a NSF cyber physical system (CPS) project that addresses some key challenges in the design and evaluation of cyber transportation systems (CTS), taking into consideration issues related to human-factors.
