STRONG COASTS fosters food, energy, and water solutions for coastal communities. This traineeship targets students who are interested in working collaboratively with coastal communities to find food, energy, and water solutions that are equitable and sustainable. In multiple reef to ridge locations, we address leverage points for food-energy-water systems to improve their sustainability. Our project integrates engineering infrastructure, the environment, sociocultural context, and considers their interactions, rather than an assembly of isolated parts.
