A Reliable, Secure and Efficient Decentralised Conditional of KYC Verification System: A Blockchain Approach. 2022 International Conference on Edge Computing and Applications (ICECAA). :564—570.
.
2022. KYC or Know Your Customer is the procedure to verify the individuality of its consumers & evaluating the possible dangers of illegitimate trade relations. A few problems with the existing KYC manual process are that it is less secure, time-consuming and expensive. With the advent of Blockchain technology, its structures such as consistency, security, and geographical diversity make them an ideal solution to such problems. Although marketing solutions such as KYC-chain.co, K-Y-C. The legal right to enable blockchain-based KYC authentication provides a way for documents to be verified by a trusted network participant. This project uses an ETHereum based Optimised KYC Block-chain system with uniform A-E-S encryption and compression built on the LZ method. The system publicly verifies a distributed encryption, is protected by cryptography, operates by pressing the algorithm and is all well-designed blockchain features. The suggested scheme is a novel explanation based on Distributed Ledger Technology or Blockchain technology that would cut KYC authentication process expenses of organisations & decrease the regular schedule for completion of the procedure whilst becoming easier for clients. The largest difference in the system in traditional methods is the full authentication procedure is performed in just no time for every client, regardless of the number of institutions you desire to be linked to. Furthermore, since DLT is employed, validation findings may be securely distributed to consumers, enhancing transparency. Based on this method, a Proof of Concept (POC) is produced with Ethereum's API, websites as endpoints and the android app as the front office, recognising the viability and efficacy of this technique. Ultimately, this strategy enhances consumer satisfaction, lowers budget overrun & promotes transparency in the customer transport network.
Research and Implementation on the Operation and Transaction System Based on Blockchain Technology for Virtual Power Plant. 2022 International Conference on Blockchain Technology and Information Security (ICBCTIS). :165–170.
.
2022. Virtual power plants are among the promising ways that variable generation and flexible demand may be optimally balanced in the future. The virtual power plant is an important branch of the energy internet, and it plays an important role in the aggregation of distributed power generation resources and the establishment of virtual power resource transactions. However, in the existing virtual power plant model, the following problems are becoming increasingly prominent, such as safeguard, credit rating system, privacy protection, benefit distribution. Firstly, the operation and transaction mechanism of the virtual power plant was introduced. Then, the blockchain technology is introduced into the virtual power plant transaction to make it more conducive to the information transparent, stable dispatch system, data security, and storage security. Finally, the operation and transaction system based on blockchain technology for the virtual power plant was design.
Research Progress On Name Data Networking To Achieve A Superior National Product In Indonesia. 2022 8th International Conference on Wireless and Telematics (ICWT). :1–6.
.
2022. Global traffic data are proliferating, including in Indonesia. The number of internet users in Indonesia reached 205 million in January 2022. This data means that 73.7% of Indonesia’s population has used the internet. The median internet speed for mobile phones in Indonesia is 15.82 Mbps, while the median internet connection speed for Wi-Fi in Indonesia is 20.13 Mbps. As predicted by many, real-time traffic such as multimedia streaming dominates more than 79% of traffic on the internet network. This condition will be a severe challenge for the internet network, which is required to improve the Quality of Experience (QoE) for user mobility, such as reducing delay, data loss, and network costs. However, IP-based networks are no longer efficient at managing traffic. Named Data Network (NDN) is a promising technology for building an agile communication model that reduces delays through a distributed and adaptive name-based data delivery approach. NDN replaces the ‘where’ paradigm with the concept of ‘what’. User requests are no longer directed to a specific IP address but to specific content. This paradigm causes responses to content requests to be served by a specific server and can also be served by the closest device to the requested data. NDN router has CS to cache the data, significantly reducing delays and improving the internet network’s quality of Service (QoS). Motivated by this, in 2019, we began intensive research to achieve a national flagship product, an NDN router with different functions from ordinary IP routers. NDN routers have cache, forwarding, and routing functions that affect data security on name-based networks. Designing scalable NDN routers is a new challenge as NDN requires fast hierarchical name-based lookups, perpackage data field state updates, and large-scale forward tables. We have a research team that has conducted NDN research through simulation, emulation, and testbed approaches using virtual machines to get the best NDN router design before building a prototype. Research results from 2019 show that the performance of NDN-based networks is better than existing IP-based networks. The tests were carried out based on various scenarios on the Indonesian network topology using NDNsimulator, MATLAB, Mininet-NDN, and testbed using virtual machines. Various network performance parameters, such as delay, throughput, packet loss, resource utilization, header overhead, packet transmission, round trip time, and cache hit ratio, showed the best results compared to IP-based networks. In addition, NDN Testbed based on open source is free, and the flexibility of creating topology has also been successfully carried out. This testbed includes all the functions needed to run an NDN network. The resource capacity on the server used for this testbed is sufficient to run a reasonably complex topology. However, bugs are still found on the testbed, and some features still need improvement. The following exploration of the NDN testbed will run with more new strategy algorithms and add Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the NDN function. Using AI in cache and forwarding strategies can make the system more intelligent and precise in making decisions according to network conditions. It will be a step toward developing NDN router products by the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) Indonesia.
Resilience of multi-object density fusion against cyber-attacks. 2022 11th International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS). :7–12.
.
2022. Recently, it has been proposed to deal with fusion of multi-object densities exploiting the minimum information loss (MIL) rule, which has shown its superiority over generalized covariance intersection (GCI) fusion whenever sensor nodes have low detection probability. On the contrary, GCI shows better performance than MIL when dense clutter is involved in the measurements. In this paper, we are going to study the behavior of multi-object fusion with MIL and, respectively, GCI rules in the situation wherein the sensor network is exposed to cyber-attacks. Both theoretical and numerical analyses demonstrate that MIL is more robust than GCI fusion when the multi-sensor system is subject to a packet substitution attack.

A Robust Captcha Scheme for Web Security. 2022 6th International Conference On Computing, Communication, Control And Automation (ICCUBEA. :1–6.
.
2022. The internet has grown increasingly important in everyone's everyday lives due to the availability of numerous web services such as email, cloud storage, video streaming, music streaming, and search engines. On the other hand, attacks by computer programmes such as bots are a common hazard to these internet services. Captcha is a computer program that helps a server-side company determine whether or not a real user is requesting access. Captcha is a security feature that prevents unauthorised access to a user's account by protecting restricted areas from automated programmes, bots, or hackers. Many websites utilise Captcha to prevent spam and other hazardous assaults when visitors log in. However, in recent years, the complexity of Captcha solving has become difficult for humans too, making it less user friendly. To solve this, we propose creating a Captcha that is both simple and engaging for people while also robust enough to protect sensitive data from bots and hackers on the internet. The suggested captcha scheme employs animated artifacts, rotation, and variable fonts as resistance techniques. The proposed captcha technique proves successful against OCR bots with less than 15% accuracy while being easier to solve for human users with more than 98% accuracy.

Rule-based User Behavior Detection System for SaaS Application. 2022 23rd Asia-Pacific Network Operations and Management Symposium (APNOMS). :1–4.
.
2022. SaaS is a cloud-based application service that allows users to use applications that work in a cloud environment. SaaS is a subscription type, and the service expenditure varies depending on the license, the number of users, and duration of use. For efficient network management, security and cost management, accurate detection of user behavior for SaaS applications is required. In this paper, we propose a rule-based traffic analysis method for the user behavior detection. We conduct comparative experiments with signature-based method by using the real SaaS application and demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.
Sandbox Integrated Gateway for the Discovery of Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities. 2022 International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC). :1–4.
.
2022. Emails are widely used as a form of communication and sharing files in an organization. However, email is widely used by cybercriminals to spread malware and carrying out cyber-attacks. We implemented an open-source email gateway in conjunction with a security sandbox for securing emails against malicious attachments. The email gateway scans all incoming and outgoing emails and stops emails containing suspicious files. An automated python script would then send the suspected email to the sandboxing element through sandbox API for further analysis, while the script is used also for the prevention of duplicate results. Moreover, the mail server administrator receives notifications from the email gateway about suspicious attachments. If detected attachment is a true positive based on the sandbox analysis result, email is deleted, otherwise, the email is delivered to the recipient. The paper describes in an empirical way the steps followed during the implementation, results, and conclusions of our research.

Scalable and Privacy-Focused Company-Centric Supply Chain Management. 2022 IEEE International Conference on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency (ICBC).
.
2022. Blockchain technology promises to overcome trust and privacy concerns inherent to centralized information sharing. However, current decentralized supply chain management systems do either not meet privacy and scalability requirements or require a trustworthy consortium, which is challenging for increasingly dynamic supply chains with constantly changing participants. In this paper, we propose CCChain, a scalable and privacy-aware supply chain management system that stores all information locally to give companies complete sovereignty over who accesses their data. Still, tamper protection of all data through a permissionless blockchain enables on-demand tracking and tracing of products as well as reliable information sharing while affording the detection of data inconsistencies. Our evaluation confirms that CCChain offers superior scalability in comparison to alternatives while also enabling near real-time tracking and tracing for many, less complex products.
A Secured Dialog Protocol Scheme Over Content Centric Networks. 2022 3rd International Conference on Intelligent Engineering and Management (ICIEM). :95–101.
.
2022. Internet architecture has transformed into a more complex form than it was about a decade back. Today the internet comprises multimedia information where services and web applications have started to shift their focus on content. In our perspective of communication systems, content-centric networking (CCN) proposes a new methodology. The use of cache memory at the network level is an important feature of this new architecture. This cache is intended to store transit details for a set period, and it is hoped that this capability will aid in network quality, especially in a rapidly increasing video streaming situation. Information-centric networking (ICN) is the one architecture that is seen as a possible alternative for shifting the Internet from a host-centric to a content-centric point-of-view. It focuses on data rather than content. CCN is more reliable when it comes to data delivery as it does not need to depend on location for data. CCN architecture is scalable, secure and provides mobility support. In this paper, we implement a ccnchat, a chat testing application, which is created with the help of libraries provided by Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) on local area network (LAN) between two users and demonstrate the working of this local chat application over CCN network that works alongside existing IP infrastructure.
Secured framework for privacy preserving healthcare based on blockchain. 2022 International Conference on Computer Communication and Informatics (ICCCI). :1–5.
.
2022. Healthcare has become one of the most important aspects of people’s lives, resulting in a surge in medical big data. Healthcare providers are increasingly using Internet of Things (IoT)-based wearable technologies to speed up diagnosis and treatment. In recent years, Through the Internet, billions of sensors, gadgets, and vehicles have been connected. One such example is for the treatment and care of patients, technology—remote patient monitoring—is already commonplace. However, these technologies also offer serious privacy and data security problems. Data transactions are transferred and logged. These medical data security and privacy issues might ensue from a pause in therapy, putting the patient’s life in jeopardy. We planned a framework to manage and analyse healthcare large data in a safe manner based on blockchain. Our model’s enhanced privacy and security characteristics are based on data sanitization and restoration techniques. The framework shown here make data and transactions more secure.

Securing digital economies byimplementing DNA cryptography with amino acid and one-time pad. Competitive Advantage in the Digital Economy (CADE 2022). 2022:99—104.
.
2022. Technology is transforming rapidly. Security during data transmission is an increasingly critical and essential factor for the integrity and confidentiality of data in the financial domain, such as e-commerce transactions and bank transactions, etc. We cannot overestimate the importance of encryption/decryption of information in the digital economy. The need to strengthen and secure the digital economy is urgent. Cryptography maintains the security and integrity of data kept on computers and data communicated over the internet using encryption/decryption. A new concept in cryptography named DNA cryptography has attracted the interest of information security professionals. The DNA cryptography method hides data using a DNA sequence, with DNA encryption converting binary data into the DNA sequence. Deoxy Ribonucleic Acid (DNA) is a long polymer strand having nitrogen bases adenine (A), thymine (T), cytosine (C), and guanine (G), which play an important role in plain text encoding and decoding. DNA has high storage capacity, fast processing, and high computation capacity, and is more secure than other cryptography algorithms. DNA cryptography supports both symmetric and asymmetric cryptography. DNA cryptography can encrypt numeric values, English language and unicast. The main aim of this paper is to explain different aspects of DNA cryptography and how it works. We also compare different DNA algorithms/methods proposed in a previous paper, and implement DNA cryptography using one-time pad (OTP) and amino acid sequence using java language. OTP is used for symmetric key generation and the DNA sequence is converted to an amino acid sequence to create confusion.
On Securing MAC Layer Broadcast Signals Against Covert Channel Exploitation in 5G, 6G & Beyond. 2022 IEEE Future Networks World Forum (FNWF). :486—493.
.
2022. In this work, we propose a novel framework to identify and mitigate a recently disclosed covert channel scheme exploiting unprotected broadcast messages in cellular MAC layer protocols. Examples of covert channel are used in data exfiltration, remote command-and-control (CnC) and espionage. Responsibly disclosed to GSMA (CVD-2021-0045), the SPAR-ROW covert channel scheme exploits the downlink power of LTE/5G base-stations that broadcast contention resolution identity (CRI) from any anonymous device according to the 3GPP standards. Thus, the SPARROW devices can covertly relay short messages across long-distance which can be potentially harmful to critical infrastructure. The SPARROW schemes can also complement the solutions for long-range M2M applications. This work investigates the security vs. performance trade-off in CRI-based contention resolution mechanisms. Then it offers a rig-orously designed method to randomly obfuscate CRI broadcast in future 5G/6G standards. Compared to CRI length reduction, the proposed method achieves considerable protection against SPARROW exploitation with less impact on the random-access performance as shown in the numerical results.
Security and Privacy Evaluation Methods and Metrics in Vehicular Networks. 2022 IEEE 19th Annual Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC). :1—6.
.
2022. The vehicular networks extend the internet services to road edge. They allow users to stay connected offering them a set of safety and infotainment services like weather forecasts and road conditions. The security and privacy are essential issues in computing systems and networks. They are particularly important in vehicular networks due to their direct impact on the users’ safety on road. Various researchers have concentrated their efforts on resolving these two issues in vehicular networks. A great number of researches are found in literature and with still existing open issues and security risks to be solved, the research is continuous in this area. However, the researchers may face some difficulties in choosing the correct method to prove their works or to illustrate their excellency in comparison with existing solutions. In this paper, we review a set of evaluation methodologies and metrics to measure, proof or analyze privacy and security solutions. The aim of this review is to illuminate the readers about the possible existing methods to help them choose the correct techniques to use and reduce their difficulties.
Security and Privacy of Critical Data in Ad Hoc Network Deployed Over Running Vehicles. 2022 3rd International Conference on Intelligent Engineering and Management (ICIEM).
.
2022. Security and privacy are one of crucial factor in the area of information technology and iys applications. Ad-hoc network is a type of non-infrastructure wireless network that is more prone to be attacked and abused due to its properties. Deploying the ad-hoc network in vehicular environment needs the additional security consideration to prevent the attacks that can cause the serious harms like accidents, crashes and fatality of living being lives. In this paper we have explored analysis and requirements of the security solution for the ad hoc network under the vehicular environment. Different categories of threats, their risks are evaluated and then various issues related to deploying the security solutions are addressed by mentioning the proper security technologies and tools.
Security Automation using Traffic Flow Modeling. 2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Network Softwarization (NetSoft). :486–491.
.
2022. he growing trend towards network “softwarization” allows the creation and deployment of even complex network environments in a few minutes or seconds, rather than days or weeks as required by traditional methods. This revolutionary approach made it necessary to seek automatic processes to solve network security problems. One of the main issues in the automation of network security concerns the proper and efficient modeling of network traffic. In this paper, we describe two optimized Traffic Flows representation models, called Atomic Flows and Maximal Flows. In addition to the description, we have validated and evaluated the proposed models to solve two key network security problems - security verification and automatic configuration - showing the advantages and limitations of each solution.
The Security Investigation of Ban Score and Misbehavior Tracking in Bitcoin Network. 2022 IEEE 42nd International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems (ICDCS). :191–201.
.
2022. Bitcoin P2P networking is especially vulnerable to networking threats because it is permissionless and does not have the security protections based on the trust in identities, which enables the attackers to manipulate the identities for Sybil and spoofing attacks. The Bitcoin node keeps track of its peer’s networking misbehaviors through ban scores. In this paper, we investigate the security problems of the ban-score mechanism and discover that the ban score is not only ineffective against the Bitcoin Message-based DoS (BM-DoS) attacks but also vulnerable to the Defamation attack as the network adversary can exploit the ban score to defame innocent peers. To defend against these threats, we design an anomaly detection approach that is effective, lightweight, and tailored to the networking threats exploiting Bitcoin’s ban-score mechanism. We prototype our threat discoveries against a real-world Bitcoin node connected to the Bitcoin Mainnet and conduct experiments based on the prototype implementation. The experimental results show that the attacks have devastating impacts on the targeted victim while being cost-effective on the attacker side. For example, an attacker can ban a peer in two milliseconds and reduce the victim’s mining rate by hundreds of thousands of hash computations per second. Furthermore, to counter the threats, we empirically validate our detection countermeasure’s effectiveness and performances against the BM-DoS and Defamation attacks.

Semi-supervised novelty detection with one class SVM for SMS spam detection. 2022 29th International Conference on Systems, Signals and Image Processing (IWSSIP). CFP2255E-ART:1–4.
.
2022. The volume of SMS messages sent on a daily basis globally has continued to grow significantly over the past years. Hence, mobile phones are becoming increasingly vulnerable to SMS spam messages, thereby exposing users to the risk of fraud and theft of personal data. Filtering of messages to detect and eliminate SMS spam is now a critical functionality for which different types of machine learning approaches are still being explored. In this paper, we propose a system for detecting SMS spam using a semi-supervised novelty detection approach based on one class SVM classifier. The system is built as an anomaly detector that learns only from normal SMS messages thus enabling detection models to be implemented in the absence of labelled SMS spam training examples. We evaluated our proposed system using a benchmark dataset consisting of 747 SMS spam and 4827 non-spam messages. The results show that our proposed method out-performed the traditional supervised machine learning approaches based on binary, frequency or TF-IDF bag-of-words. The overall accuracy was 98% with 100% SMS spam detection rate and only around 3% false positive rate.

A Study on Brute Force Attack on T-Mobile Leading to SIM-Hijacking and Identity-Theft. 2022 IEEE World AI IoT Congress (AIIoT). :501–507.
.
2022. The 2021 T-Mobile breach conducted by John Erin Binns resulted in the theft of 54 million customers' personal data. The attacker gained entry into T-Mobile's systems through an unprotected router and used brute force techniques to access the sensitive information stored on the internal servers. The data stolen included names, addresses, Social Security Numbers, birthdays, driver's license numbers, ID information, IMEIs, and IMSIs. We analyze the data breach and how it opens the door to identity theft and many other forms of hacking such as SIM Hijacking. SIM Hijacking is a form of hacking in which bad actors can take control of a victim's phone number allowing them means to bypass additional safety measures currently in place to prevent fraud. This paper thoroughly reviews the attack methodology, impact, and attempts to provide an understanding of important measures and possible defense solutions against future attacks. We also detail other social engineering attacks that can be incurred from releasing the leaked data.
Swarm Intelligence applied to SQL Injection. 2022 17th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (CISTI). :1–6.
.
2022. The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) (a non-profit foundation that works to improve computer security) considered, in 2021, injection as one of the biggest risks in web applications. SQL injection despite being a vulnerability easily avoided has a great insurgency in web applications, and its impact is quite nefarious. To identify and exploit vulnerabilities in a system, algorithms based on Swarm Intelligence (SI) can be used. This article proposes and describes a new approach that uses SI and attack vectors to identify Structured Query Language (SQL) Injection vulnerabilities. The results obtained show the efficiency of the proposed approach.
Testing the Resiliency of Consumer Off-the-Shelf Drones to a Variety of Cyberattack Methods. 2022 IEEE/AIAA 41st Digital Avionics Systems Conference (DASC). :1–5.
.
2022. An often overlooked but equally important aspect of unmanned aerial system (UAS) design is the security of their networking protocols and how they deal with cyberattacks. In this context, cyberattacks are malicious attempts to monitor or modify incoming and outgoing data from the system. These attacks could target anywhere in the system where a transfer of data occurs but are most common in the transfer of data between the control station and the UAS. A compromise in the networking system of a UAS could result in a variety of issues including increased network latency between the control station and the UAS, temporary loss of control over the UAS, or a complete loss of the UAS. A complete loss of the system could result in the UAS being disabled, crashing, or the attacker overtaking command and control of the platform, all of which would be done with little to no alert to the operator. Fortunately, the majority of higher-end, enterprise, and government UAS platforms are aware of these threats and take actions to mitigate them. However, as the consumer market continues to grow and prices continue to drop, network security may be overlooked or ignored in favor of producing the lowest cost product possible. Additionally, these commercial off-the-shelf UAS often use uniform, standardized frequency bands, autopilots, and security measures, meaning a cyberattack could be developed to affect a wide variety of models with minimal changes. This paper will focus on a low-cost educational-use UAS and test its resilience to a variety of cyberattack methods, including man-in-the-middle attacks, spoofing of data, and distributed denial-of-service attacks. Following this experiment will be a discussion of current cybersecurity practices for counteracting these attacks and how they can be applied onboard a UAS. Although in this case the cyberattacks were tested against a simpler platform, the methods discussed are applicable to any UAS platform attempting to defend against such cyberattack methods.

Towards a Hybrid UHF RFID and NFC Platform for the Security of Medical Data from a Point of Care. 2022 IEEE 12th International Conference on RFID Technology and Applications (RFID-TA). :142–145.
.
2022. In recent years, body-worn RFID and NFC (near field communication) devices have become one of the principal technologies concurring to the rise of healthcare internet of thing (H-IoT) systems. Similarly, points of care (PoCs) moved increasingly closer to patients to reduce the costs while supporting precision medicine and improving chronic illness management, thanks to timely and frequent feedback from the patients themselves. A typical PoC involves medical sensing devices capable of sampling human health, personal equipment with communications and computing capabilities (smartphone or tablet) and a secure software environment for data transmission to medical centers. Hybrid platforms simultaneously employing NFC and ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID could be successfully developed for the first sensing layer. An application example of the proposed hybrid system for the monitoring of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) survivors details how the combined use of NFC and UHF-RFID in the same PoC can support the multifaceted need of AMI survivors while protecting the sensitive data on the patient’s health.
Towards Design Patterns for Production Security. 2022 IEEE 27th International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation (ETFA). :1—4.
.
2022. In Production System Engineering (PSE), domain experts aim at effectively and efficiently analyzing and mitigating information security risks to product and process qualities for manufacturing. However, traditional security standards do not connect security analysis to the value stream of the production system nor to production quality requirements. This paper aims at facilitating security analysis for production quality already in the design phase of PSE. In this paper, we (i) identify the connection between security and production quality, and (ii) introduce the Production Security Network (PSN) to efficiently derive reusable security requirements and design patterns for PSE. We evaluate the PSN with threat scenarios in a feasibility study. The study results indicate that the PSN satisfies the requirements for systematic security analysis. The design patterns provide a good foundation for improving the communication of domain experts by connecting security and quality concerns.
Traitor Tracing in Broadcast Encryption using Vector Keys. 2022 IEEE 2nd Mysore Sub Section International Conference (MysuruCon). :1–5.
.
2022. Secured data transmission between one to many authorized users is achieved through Broadcast Encryption (BE). In BE, the source transmits encrypted data to multiple registered users who already have their decrypting keys. The Untrustworthy users, known as Traitors, can give out their secret keys to a hacker to form a pirate decoding system to decrypt the original message on the sly. The process of detecting the traitors is known as Traitor Tracing in cryptography. This paper presents a new Black Box Tracing method that is fully collusion resistant and it is designated as Traitor Tracing in Broadcast Encryption using Vector Keys (TTBE-VK). The proposed method uses integer vectors in the finite field Zp as encryption/decryption/tracing keys, reducing the computational cost compared to the existing methods.
True-Time-Delay Line of Chipless RFID Tag for Security & IoT Sensing Applications. 2022 5th International Conference on Information and Communications Technology (ICOIACT). :1–6.
.
2022. In this paper, a novel composite right/left-handed transmission line (CRLH TL) 3-unit cell is presented for finding excellent time-delay (TD) efficiency of Chipless RFID's True-Time-Delay Lines (TTDLs). RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a non-contact automatic identification technology that uses radio frequency (RF) signals to identify target items automatically and retrieve pertinent data without the need for human participation. However, as compared to barcodes, RFID tags are prohibitively expensive and complex to manufacture. Chipless RFID tags are RFID tags that do not contain silicon chips and are therefore less expensive and easier to manufacture. It combines radio broadcasting technology with radar technology. Radio broadcasting technology use radio waves to send and receive voice, pictures, numbers, and symbols, whereas radar technology employs the radio wave reflection theory. Chipless RFID lowers the cost of sensors such as gas, temperature, humidity, and pressure. In addition, Chipless RFID tags can be used as sensors which are also required for security purposes and future IoT applications.

Usage of Classifier Ensemble for Security Enrichment in IDS. 2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS). :420—425.
.
2022. The success of the web and the consequent rise in data sharing have made network security a challenge. Attackers from all around the world target PC installations. When an attack is successful, an electronic device's security is jeopardised. The intrusion implicitly includes any sort of behaviours that purport to think twice about the respectability, secrecy, or accessibility of an asset. Information is shielded from unauthorised clients' scrutiny by the integrity of a certain foundation. Accessibility refers to the framework that gives users of the framework true access to information. The word "classification" implies that data within a given frame is shielded from unauthorised access and public display. Consequently, a PC network is considered to be fully completed if the primary objectives of these three standards have been satisfactorily met. To assist in achieving these objectives, Intrusion Detection Systems have been developed with the fundamental purpose of scanning incoming traffic on computer networks for malicious intrusions.
