Fan, Jinqiang, Xu, Yonggang, Ma, Jing.  2022.  Research on Security Classification and Classification Method of Power Grid Data. 2022 6th International Conference on Smart Grid and Smart Cities (ICSGSC). :72—76.

In order to solve the problem of untargeted data security grading methods in the process of power grid data governance, this paper analyzes the mainstream data security grading standards at home and abroad, investigates and sorts out the characteristics of power grid data security grading requirements, and proposes a method that considers national, social, and A grid data security classification scheme for the security impact of four dimensions of individuals and enterprises. The plan determines the principle of power grid data security classification. Based on the basic idea of “who will be affected to what extent and to what extent when the power grid data security is damaged”, it defines three classification factors that need to be considered: the degree of impact, the scope of influence, and the objects of influence, and the power grid data is divided into five security levels. In the operation stage of power grid data security grading, this paper sorts out the experience and gives the recommended grading process. This scheme basically conforms to the status quo of power grid data classification, and lays the foundation for power grid data governance.

Wang, Xuezhong.  2022.  Research on Video Surveillance Violence Detection Technology Based on Deep Convolution Network. 2022 International Conference on Information System, Computing and Educational Technology (ICISCET). :347–350.

In recent years, in order to continuously promote the construction of safe cities, security monitoring equipment has been widely used all over the country. How to use computer vision technology to realize effective intelligent analysis of violence in video surveillance is very important to maintain social stability and ensure people's life and property safety. Video surveillance system has been widely used because of its intuitive and convenient advantages. However, the existing video monitoring system has relatively single function, and generally only has the functions of monitoring video viewing, query and playback. In addition, relevant researchers pay less attention to the complex abnormal behavior of violence, and relevant research often ignores the differences between violent behaviors in different scenes. At present, there are two main problems in video abnormal behavior event detection: the video data of abnormal behavior is less and the definition of abnormal behavior in different scenes cannot be clearly distinguished. The main existing methods are to model normal behavior events first, and then define videos that do not conform to the normal model as abnormal, among which the learning method of video space-time feature representation based on deep learning shows a good prospect. In the face of massive surveillance videos, it is necessary to use deep learning to identify violent behaviors, so that the machine can learn to identify human actions, instead of manually monitoring camera images to complete the alarm of violent behaviors. Network training mainly uses video data set to identify network training.

Devi, Reshoo, Kumar, Amit, Kumar, Vivek, Saini, Ashish, Kumari, Amrita, Kumar, Vipin.  2022.  A Review Paper on IDS in Edge Computing or EoT. 2022 International Conference on Fourth Industrial Revolution Based Technology and Practices (ICFIRTP). :30—35.

The main intention of edge computing is to improve network performance by storing and computing data at the edge of the network near the end user. However, its rapid development largely ignores security threats in large-scale computing platforms and their capable applications. Therefore, Security and privacy are crucial need for edge computing and edge computing based environment. Security vulnerabilities in edge computing systems lead to security threats affecting edge computing networks. Therefore, there is a basic need for an intrusion detection system (IDS) designed for edge computing to mitigate security attacks. Due to recent attacks, traditional algorithms may not be possibility for edge computing. This article outlines the latest IDS designed for edge computing and focuses on the corresponding methods, functions and mechanisms. This review also provides deep understanding of emerging security attacks in edge computing. This article proves that although the design and implementation of edge computing IDS have been studied previously, the development of efficient, reliable and powerful IDS for edge computing systems is still a crucial task. At the end of the review, the IDS developed will be introduced as a future prospect.

Qi, Jiaqi, Meng, Hao, Ye, Jun.  2022.  A Research on the Selection of Cooperative Enterprises in School-Enterprise Joint Cryptography Laboratory. 2022 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Everything (AIE). :659—663.
In order to better cultivate engineering and application-oriented cryptographic talents, it is urgent to establish a joint school enterprise cryptographic laboratory. However, there is a core problem in the existing school enterprise joint laboratory construction scheme: the enterprise is not specialized and has insufficient cooperation ability, which can not effectively realize the effective integration of resources and mutual benefit and win-win results. To solve this problem, we propose a comprehensive evaluation model of cooperative enterprises based on entropy weight method and grey correlation analysis. Firstly, the multi-level evaluation index system of the enterprise is established, and the entropy weight method is used to objectively weight the index. After that, the grey weighted correlation degree between each enterprise and the virtual optimal enterprise is calculated by grey correlation analysis to compare the advantages and disadvantages of enterprises. Through the example analysis, it is proved that our method is effective and reliable, eliminating subjective factors, and providing a certain reference value for the construction of school enterprise joint cryptographic laboratory.

Chen, Jianhua, Yang, Wenchuan, Cui, Can, Zhang, Yang.  2022.  Research and Implementation of Intelligent Detection for Deserialization Attack Traffic. 2022 4th International Academic Exchange Conference on Science and Technology Innovation (IAECST). :1206–1211.
In recent years, as an important part of the Internet, web applications have gradually penetrated into life. Now enterprises, units and institutions are using web applications regardless of size. Intrusion detection to effectively identify malicious traffic has become an inevitable requirement for the development of network security technology. In addition, the proportion of deserialization vulnerabilities is increasing. Traditional intrusion detection mostly focuses on the identification of SQL injection, XSS, and command execution, and there are few studies on the identification of deserialization attack traffic. This paper use a method to extracts relevant features from the deserialized traffic or even the obfuscated deserialized traffic by reorganizing the traffic and running the relevant content through simulation, and combines deep learning technology to make judgments to efficiently identify deserialization attacks. Finally, a prototype system was designed to capture related attacks in real-world. The technology can be used in the field of malicious traffic detection and help combat Internet crimes in the future.

We first deploy the flow collector module to collect the flow table entries. Considering the detection efficiency of the DNN model, we also design some features manually in addition to the features automatically obtained by the flow table. Then we use the preprocessed data to train the DNN model and make a prediction. The overall detection framework is deployed in the SDN controller. The experiment results illustrate DNN model has higher accuracy in identifying attack traffic than machine learning algorithms, which lays a foundation for the defense against DDoS attack.

Wang, Ning.  2022.  Resilience Analysis of Urban Rail Transit Network Under Large Passenger Flow. 2022 IEEE 22nd International Conference on Software Quality, Reliability, and Security Companion (QRS-C). :444–446.
Public transportation is an important system of urban passenger transport. The purpose of this article is to explore the impact of network resilience when each station of urban rail transit network was attacked by large passenger flow. Based on the capacity load model, we propose a load redistribution mechanism to simulate the passenger flow propagation after being attacked by large passenger flow. Then, taking Xi'an's rail network as an example, we study the resilience variety of the network after a node is attacked by large passenger flow. Through some attack experiments, the feasibility of the model for studying the resilience of the rail transit system is finally verified.

CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) is a widely used technology to distinguish real users and automated users such as bots. However, the advance of AI technologies weakens many CAPTCHA tests and can induce security concerns. In this paper, we propose a user-friendly text-based CAPTCHA generation method named Robust Text CAPTCHA (RTC). At the first stage, the foregrounds and backgrounds are constructed with font and background images respectively sampled from font and image libraries, and they are then synthesized into identifiable pseudo adversarial CAPTCHAs. At the second stage, we utilize a highly transferable adversarial attack designed for text CAPTCHAs to better obstruct CAPTCHA solvers. Our experiments cover comprehensive models including shallow models such as KNN, SVM and random forest, as well as various deep neural networks and OCR models. Experiments show that our CAPTCHAs have a failure rate lower than one millionth in general and high usability. They are also robust against various defensive techniques that attackers may employ, including adversarially trained CAPTCHA solvers and solvers trained with collected RTCs using manual annotation. Cybersecurity is important in the field of information technology. One most recent pressing issue is information security. When we think of cybersecurity, the first thing that comes to mind is cyber-attacks, which are on the rise, such as Ransomware. Various governments and businesses take a variety of measures to combat cybercrime. People are still concerned about ransomware, despite numerous cybersecurity precautions. In ransomware, the attacker encrypts the victim’s files/data and demands payment to unlock the data. Cybersecurity is a collection of tools, regulations, security guards, security ideas, guidelines, risk management, activities, training, insurance, best practices, and technology used to secure the cyber environment, organization, and user assets. This paper analyses ransomware attacks, techniques for dealing with these attacks, and future challenges.

Choi, Jong-Young, Park, Jiwoong, Lim, Sung-Hwa, Ko, Young-Bae.  2022.  A RSSI-Based Mesh Routing Protocol based IEEE 802.11p/WAVE for Smart Pole Networks. 2022 24th International Conference on Advanced Communication Technology (ICACT). :1—5.
This paper proposes a RSSI-based routing protocol for smart pole mesh networks equipped with multiple IEEE 802.11p/WAVE radios. In the IEEE 802.11p based multi-radio multi-channel environments, the performance of traditional mesh routing protocols is severely degraded because of metric measurement overhead. The periodic probe messages for measuring the quality of each channel incurs a large overhead due to the channel switching delay. To solve such an overhead problem, we introduce a routing metric that estimates expected transmission time and proposes a light-weight channel allocation algorithm based on RSSI value only. We evaluate the performance of the proposed solution through simulation experiments with NS-3. Simulation results show that it can improve the network performance in terms of latency and throughput, compared to the legacy WCETT routing scheme.

Peng, Chunying, Xu, Haixia, Li, Peili.  2022.  Redactable Blockchain Using Lattice-based Chameleon Hash Function. 2022 International Conference on Blockchain Technology and Information Security (ICBCTIS). :94–98.
Blockchain as a tamper-proof, non-modifiable and traceable distributed ledger technology has received extensive attention. Although blockchain's immutability provides security guarantee, it prevents the development of new blockchain technology. As we think, there are several arguments to prefer a controlled modifiable blockchain, from the possibility to cancel the transaction and necessity to remove the illicit or harmful documents, to the ability to support the scalability of blockchain. Meanwhile, the rapid development of quantum technology has made the establishment of post-quantum cryptosystems an urgent need. In this paper, we put forward the first lattice-based redactable consortium blockchain scheme that makes it possible to rewrite or repeal the content of any blocks. Our approach uses a consensus-based election and lattice-based chameleon hash function (Cash and Hofheinz etc. EUROCRYPT 2010). With knowledge of secret trapdoor, the participant could find the hash collisions efficiently. And each member of the consortium blockchain has the right to edit the history.

Jia, Jingyun, Chan, Philip K..  2022.  Representation Learning with Function Call Graph Transformations for Malware Open Set Recognition. 2022 International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN). :1—8.
Open set recognition (OSR) problem has been a challenge in many machine learning (ML) applications, such as security. As new/unknown malware families occur regularly, it is difficult to exhaust samples that cover all the classes for the training process in ML systems. An advanced malware classification system should classify the known classes correctly while sensitive to the unknown class. In this paper, we introduce a self-supervised pre-training approach for the OSR problem in malware classification. We propose two transformations for the function call graph (FCG) based malware representations to facilitate the pretext task. Also, we present a statistical thresholding approach to find the optimal threshold for the unknown class. Moreover, the experiment results indicate that our proposed pre-training process can improve different performances of different downstream loss functions for the OSR problem.

At present, the black-start mode of the large power grid is mostly limited to relying on the black-start power supply inside the system, or only to the recovery mode that regards the transmission power of tie lines between systems as the black-start power supply. The starting power supply involved in the situation of the large power outage is incomplete and it is difficult to give full play to the respective advantages of internal and external power sources. In this paper, a method of coordinated black-start of large power grid internal and external power sources is proposed by combining the two modes. Firstly, the black-start capability evaluation system is built to screen out the internal black-start power supply, and the external black-start power supply is determined by analyzing the connection relationship between the systems. Then, based on the specific implementation principles, the black-start power supply coordination strategy is formulated by using the Dijkstra shortest path algorithm. Based on the condensation idea, the black-start zoning and path optimization method applicable to this strategy is proposed. Finally, the black-start security verification and corresponding control measures are adopted to obtain a scheme of black-start cooperation between internal and external power sources in the large power grid. The above method is applied in a real large power grid and compared with the conventional restoration strategy to verify the feasibility and efficiency of this method.

The industrial Internet platform has been applied to various fields of industrial production, effectively improving the data flow of all elements in the production process, improving production efficiency, reducing production costs, and ensuring the market competitiveness of enterprises. The premise of the effective application of the industrial Internet platform is the interconnection of industrial equipment. In the industrial Internet platform, industrial robot is a very common industrial control device. These industrial robots are connected to the control network of the industrial Internet platform, which will have obvious advantages in production efficiency and equipment maintenance, but at the same time will cause more serious network security problems. The industrial robot system based on the industrial Internet platform not only increases the possibility of industrial robots being attacked, but also aggravates the loss and harm caused by industrial robots being attacked. At the same time, this paper illustrates the effects and scenarios of industrial robot attacks based on industrial interconnection platforms from four different scenarios of industrial robots being attacked. Availability and integrity are related to the security of the environment.

Artificial intelligence creation comes into fashion and has brought unprecedented challenges to intellectual property law. In order to study the viewpoints of AI creation copyright ownership from professionals in different institutions, taking the papers of AI creation on CNKI from 2016 to 2021, we applied orthogonal design and analysis of variance method to construct the dataset. A kernel-SVM classifier with different kernel methods in addition to some shallow machine learning classifiers are selected in analyzing and predicting the copyright ownership of AI creation. Support vector machine (svm) is widely used in statistics and the performance of SVM method is closely related to the choice of the kernel function. SVM with RBF kernel surpasses the other seven kernel-SVM classifiers and five shallow classifier, although the accuracy provided by all of them was not satisfactory. Various performance metrics such as accuracy, F1-score are used to evaluate the performance of KSVM and other classifiers. The purpose of this study is to explore the overall viewpoints of AI creation copyright ownership, investigate the influence of different features on the final copyright ownership and predict the most likely viewpoint in the future. And it will encourage investors, researchers and promote intellectual property protection in China.

In the field of airport passenger security, a new type of security inspection equipment called intelligent passenger security equipment is applied widely, which can significantly improve the efficiency of airport security screening and passenger satisfaction. This paper establishes a security check channel model based on intelligent passenger security check equipment, and studies the factors affecting the efficiency of airport security screening, such as the number of baggage unloading points, baggage loading points, secondary inspection points, etc. A simulation model of security check channel is established based on data from existing intelligent passenger security check equipment and data collected from Beijing Daxing Airport. Equipment utilization and queue length data is obtained by running the simulation model. According to the data, the bottleneck is that the manual inspection process takes too long, and the utilization rate of the baggage unloading point is too low. For the bottleneck link, an optimization scheme is proposed. With more manual check points and secondary inspection points and less baggage unloading points, the efficiency of airport security screening significantly increases by running simulation model. Based on the optimized model, the effect of baggage unloading point and baggage loading point on efficiency is further studied. The optimal parameter configuration scheme under the expected efficiency is obtained. This research can assist engineers to find appropriate equipment configuration quickly and instruct the airport to optimize the arrangement of security staff, which can effectively improve the efficiency of airport security screening and reduce the operating costs of airport.

Nowadays, network information security is of great concern, and the measurement of the trustworthiness of terminal devices is of great significance to the security of the entire network. The measurement method of terminal device security trust still has the problems of high complexity, lack of universality. In this paper, the device fingerprint library of device access network terminal devices is first established through the device fingerprint mixed collection method; Secondly, the software and hardware features of the device fingerprint are used to increase the uniqueness of the device identification, and the multi- dimensional standard metric is used to measure the trustworthiness of the terminal device; Finally, Block chain technology is used to store the fingerprint and standard model of network access terminal equipment on the chain. To improve the security level of network access devices, a device access method considering the trust of terminal devices from multiple perspectives is implemented.

Guo, Yihao, Guo, Chuangxin, Yang, Jie.  2022.  A Resource Allocation Method for Attacks on Power Systems Under Extreme Weather. 2022 IEEE/IAS Industrial and Commercial Power System Asia (I&CPS Asia). :165—169.
This paper addresses the allocation method of offensive resources for man-made attacks on power systems considering extreme weather conditions, which can help the defender identify the most vulnerable components to protect in this adverse situation. The problem is formulated as an attacker-defender model. The attacker at the upper level intends to maximize the expected damage considering all possible line failure scenarios. These scenarios are characterized by the combinations of failed transmission lines under extreme weather. Once the disruption is detected, the defender at the lower level alters the generation and consumption in the power grid using DC optimal power flow technique to minimize the damage. Then the original bi-level problem is transformed into an equivalent single-level mixed-integer linear program through strong duality theorem and Big-M method. The proposed attack resource allocation method is applied on IEEE 39-bus system and its effectiveness is demonstrated by the comparative case studies.

This paper presents topological sorting methods to minimize the multiplicative depth of encrypted arithmetic expressions. The research aims to increase compatibility between nonlinear dynamic control schemes and homomorphic encryption methods, which are known to be limited by the quantity of multiplicative operations. The proposed method adapts rewrite rules originally developed for encrypted binary circuits to depth manipulation of arithmetic circuits. The paper further introduces methods to normalize circuit paths that have incompatible depth. Finally, the paper provides benchmarks demonstrating the improved depth in encrypted computed torque control of a dynamic manipulator and discusses how achieved improvements translate to increased cybersecurity.

Ransomware uses encryption methods to make data inaccessible to legitimate users. To date a wide range of ransomware families have been developed and deployed, causing immense damage to governments, corporations, and private users. As these cyberthreats multiply, researchers have proposed a range of ransom ware detection and classification schemes. Most of these methods use advanced machine learning techniques to process and analyze real-world ransomware binaries and action sequences. Hence this paper presents a survey of this critical space and classifies existing solutions into several categories, i.e., including network-based, host-based, forensic characterization, and authorship attribution. Key facilities and tools for ransomware analysis are also presented along with open challenges.

Liu, Zhiqin, Zhu, Nan, Wang, Kun.  2022.  Recaptured Image Forensics Based on Generalized Central Difference Convolution Network. 2022 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence (SEAI). :59—63.
With large advancements in image display technology, recapturing high-quality images from high-fidelity LCD screens becomes much easier. Such recaptured images can be used to hide image tampering traces and fool some intelligent identification systems. In order to prevent such a security loophole, we propose a recaptured image detection approach based on generalized central difference convolution (GCDC) network. Specifically, by using GCDC instead of vanilla convolution, more detailed features can be extracted from both intensity and gradient information from an image. Meanwhile, we concatenate the feature maps from multiple GCDC modules to fuse low-, mid-, and high-level features for higher performance. Extensive experiments on three public recaptured image databases demonstrate the superior of our proposed method when compared with the state-of-the-art approaches.
