Outstanding Paper Award at the ACM High Integrity Language Technologies 2013 Conference

The paper titled "Compositional Verification of a Medical Device System", authored by Anitha Murugesan, Michael Whalen, Sanjai Rayadurgam and Mats P.E. Heimdahlwon the "Outstanding Paper Award" at the ACM High Integrity Language Technologies 2013, Pittsburgh, PA, Nov 12-14, 2013. Sanjai Rayadurgam presented the paper at the conference and received the award certificate on behalf of all the authors. The paper abstract and PDF are available here

First Prize at 2012 World Embedded Software Competition

Heart-on-a-Chip, an embedded systems platform that was the 2012 Senior Design Project of Electrical and Systems Engineering (ESE) students Sriram Radhakrishnan, Varun Sampath, and Shilpa Sarode, received first prize in the High-Tech Medical Service category at the 2012 World Embedded Software Competition held in Seoul, Korea. The platform, originally called Pacemaker Verification System, was developed in the laboratory of Rahul Mangharam, Stephen J.
