    The Computer Security Foundations Workshop was held during July 5-7, 2006 in Venice, Italy. This is an annual workshop with the purpose of "bring[ing] together researchers to explore fundamental issues in computer security." Every year since its inception, the workshop has been limited to forty participants, the majority of whom present papers or speak on panels. The setting is informal with plenty of time for technical discussion.
