Co-located with LADC 2016: Latin-American Symposium on Dependable Computing
Topics and Objective
This workshop will provide researchers and practitioners with a forum to exchange ideas and experiences, analyze research & development issues, discuss promising solutions, and propose new directions in the field of achieving dependability in adaptive systems. In this edition, we focus on the theme of achieving dependability in spite of dynamicity and evolution in complex systems.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Dependability in system-of-systems (SoS) and critical infrastructures
- Design techniques for dependable adaptive systems
- Validation, testing and verification of dynamic/evolving systems
- Dynamicity and evolution in mission-critical systems
- Fault tolerance techniques applied to dynamic/evolving systems
- Exception handling mechanisms applied to dynamic/evolving systems
- Use of product line concepts in dynamic/evolving systems
- Use of model-driven techniques in dependable systems
- Software architectures for dependable dynamic/evolving systems
- Solutions to guarantee Quality of Service (QoS) in dynamic/evolving systems
- Safety and reliability analysis in dynamic/evolving systems
- Proofs of concept, industrial experiences or empirical evaluations on achieving dependability in dynamic/evolving systems.
