18th Meeting of the Software Certification Consortium (SCC) - Annapolis, May 11/12 2017![Conflict Detection Enabled Conflict Detection Enabled](/sites/all/themes/redux/css/images/icons/conflict_enabled_icon.png)
On behalf of the Steering Committee of the Software Certification Consortium (SCC), I would like to invite you to attend the next SCC meeting to be held at the Historic Inns of Annapolis, Thu/Fri 11/12 May 2017, co-located with the High Confidence Software and Systems Conference 2017, that runs Mon-Wed. (My apologies for the very late notice.)
The theme for this meeting is "Evaluating Safety in the Face of Security". This seems to be a crucial topic in many industry sectors, and should make for an interesting and thought provoking meeting. Note that this meeting will be 2 full days, not the usual 1.5 days when co-located with HCSS. A defining feature of SCC meetings is the time we allot for discussion and breakout sessions. An agenda is coming - soon.
Agendas and slides from previous meetings are posted at http://cps-vo.org/group/scc/meetings
REGISTRATION:
Registration is free - but you must register please. We will organize a pay your own way group dinner on the night of the 11th (Thursday night - at the end of the first day of the meeting). Please indicate on the registration form whether or not you would like to attend.
Breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks will be provided at the meeting.
Registration and Venue Information are at the HCSS Conference web-site http://cps-vo.org/group/hcss_conference/registration
Please also reserve a room as soon as possible. The hotel has block bookings open until April 14. (We will ask for them to extend the deadline - again, apologies for the late notice!) If you have trouble reserving a room through the online reservation, call the hotel at 800.847.8882 and ask for the special rate for the HCSS Conference.
We will again arrange remote participation through WebEx. If you want to attend via remote participation, please still register, and note the fact (in the Notes/Requests field) that you would like to attend remotely.
MEETING LOCATION:
Historic Inns of Annapolis
Governor Calvert House
58 State Circle
Annapolis, Maryland 21401-1906
There are three hotels that comprise the Historic Inns of Annapolis - and they are all close together - about a 5 minute walk. Meetings will be in the Gov Calvert House.
