Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming increasingly important to intelligent transportation system stakeholders, including cloud-based vehicular cloud (VC) and internet of vehicles (IoV) paradigms. This new trend involves communication and data exchange between several objects within different layers of control. Security in such a deployment is pivotal to realize the general IoT-based smart city. However, the evaluation of the degree of security regarding these paradigms remains a challenge. This study aims to discover and identify common security criteria (CSC) from a context-based analysis pattern and later to discuss, compare, and aggregate a conceptual model of CSC impartially. A privacy granularity classification that maintains data confidentiality is proposed alongside the security selection criteria.

It is challenging in Security information and Platforms of Communication by Visible Light (VLC), solutions are made to manage the right Security problems. Several solutions have been developed and evolved constantly to meet complex and ever-changing business needs in the world. In the business context, people who are responsible for a project or an organization undergo professional and emotional stress. This research project has developed a new model which can help decision makers evaluating these alternative methods in relation to articulating different types of Security problems, formulating Security criteria, and simulating expectations of adopting the chosen method for Platforms of Communication by Visible Light (VLC).

This study proposes to apply an efficient formulation to solve the stochastic security-constrained generation capacity expansion planning (GCEP) problem using an improved method to directly compute the generalized generation distribution factors (GGDF) and the line outage distribution factors (LODF) in order to model the pre- and the post-contingency constraints based on the only application of the partial transmission distribution factors (PTDF). The classical DC-based formulation has been reformulated in order to include the security criteria solving both pre- and post-contingency constraints simultaneously. The methodology also takes into account the load uncertainty in the optimization problem using a two-stage multi-period model, and a clustering technique is used as well to reduce load scenarios (stochastic problem). The main advantage of this methodology is the feasibility to quickly compute the LODF especially with multiple-line outages (N-m). This idea could speed up contingency analyses and improve significantly the security-constrained analyses applied to GCEP problems. It is worth to mentioning that this approach is carried out without sacrificing optimality.
