CIES has extended deadlines for core scholar grants, including

Fulbright-National Science Foundation Scholar in Cyber-Security and Critical Infrastructure

 

Applications are encouraged.

 

The deadline was August 1st but has been extended to September 12th, so plenty of time for interested candidates to submit. The awards can be found in the Fulbright catalog of awards, https://awards.cies.org/. The direct link to the award is:

We are writing to let you know that there is still time to apply for exciting 2019-2020 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program awards in Cyber-Security and Critical Infrastructure! Opportunities are available for teaching and/or research!

Please feel free to forward this message to other interested colleagues and share through relevant associations and listservs.

Fulbright-National Science Foundation Scholar in Cyber-Security and Critical Infrastructure

Projects must focus on topics in cybersecurity and critical infrastructure related to any of these areas in this priority order: (1) pure and applied research; (2) workforce, curriculum and capacity development; (3) research coordination; (4) transitioning research into practice; (5) enterprise risk management; and (6) law, policy, and international relations.

Project activities may include: teaching at the university level, delivering seminars or workshops, conducting research, consulting, developing training curricula and materials, assisting with assessments and evaluations. 

Topics, for example, may involve: data analytics and privacy, cyber-physical systems and IoT security, blockchain and governance, digital forensics and incident response. Proposals that are multi-disciplinary in nature are welcome.

Fulbright-NSF Award in Computer Science/Cyber-security at Reykjavik University

A core element of the engagement would be to organize and teach a course, ideally for upper level undergraduates (~50 students) and graduate students with a focus on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Wireless Technologies.
