IET Smart Cities Special Issue on Smart Transport for Smart Cities

Dear colleagues,

Please consider submitting manuscripts for review for the IET Smart Cities - Special Issue (Call for Papers linked here) on Smart Transport for Smart Cities. We welcome your participation and contributions to this journal.

The topic includes but is not limited to:

• Intelligent transportation systems (ITS)
• Autonomous vehicles (AV), connected, and cooperative driving systems
• Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and their impact on smart transport
• Intelligent infrastructure (e.g., smart roads, streets, traffic lights, traffic signs) for transportation systems
• Artificial intelligence (AI) for transportation systems
• Congestion management and cooperative mobility applications
• Traffic information systems, traffic management, analytics, tolling, and routing applications
• Public transport, traveller information, walking, biking, and multimodal transportation systems
• Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication modes and internet of vehicles (IoV) for smart transport
• Transportation electrification, advances in electric and hybrid cars, more-electric ships and aircraft, rail systems, and personal transport
• Novel application for cyclists, freight management, and ride-sharing technologies
• Future smart transport roadmaps and transport standards
• Trials and experiments on smart transport

The submission deadline is September 15th, 2019. The publication date will be in Spring 2020.
