Student conferenceships to attend ACSAC 2019

The 35th Annual Computer Security Applications Conference (ACSAC 2019) announces the availability of Student Conferenceships enabling qualified students to attend the conference. ACSAC is a top-tier academic security conference where students can meet with practitioners, researchers, and developers in information and system security to learn and to exchange practical ideas and experiences. This year's conference will be held at The Condado Plaza Hilton in San Jun, Puerto Rico, USA on December 9-13, 2019.

Conferenceships can be requested by full-time undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited university or school and will be awarded to students that will get the most from ACSAC. We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups, including women, minorities, and persons with disabilities, to take advantage of and apply for Student Conferenceship awards. To be considered for a Conferenceship, students must submit a conferenceship application, a current CV, a short essay describing their interest and background in information security, and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member confirming that the student is in good standing plus a justification of financial need. Conferenceship awards will normally take the form of a reimbursement to be applied against conference registration and travel/lodging expenses. Our intent is to help as many students as possible based on need.
