Vanderbilt Digital Nights
Vanderbilt Digital Nights is a series of free hands-on workshops organized by the CTLI at Vanderbilt where participants will create fun computer programs. The event is targeted at high school students who want to explore what computer science is all about, but interested teachers and parents are also welcome.
The series is sponsored by the Computational Thinking and Learning Initiative (CTLI), a group of interdisciplinary researchers from across Vanderbilt University leading new efforts to recast computers as integral knowledge partners across a range of subject areas, not simply as monolithic tools reserved for high-level programmers.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these events will take place virtually.
