Workshop on Embedded and CPS Education (WESE)
The WESE workshop series aims to bring researchers, educators, and industrial representatives together to assess needs and share design, research, and experiences in embedded and CPS education. WESE is an established part of Embedded Systems Week and appeals to a broad community, both in terms of workshop delegates and contributors of peer-reviewed scientific papers.

 Workshops on 21st Century CPS Education
The National Academy of Sciences Committee on 21st Century Cyber-Physical Systems Education held two workshops in 2014--on April 30 and October 2-3 in Washington, D.C.-- to explore the knowledge and skills required for cyber-physicals systems (CPS) work, education, and training requirements and possible approaches to retooling engineering and computer science programs and curricula to meet these needs. An interim and final report were produced which can be found below.

First Workshop on CPS Education
CCPS-Ed sought to build a systematic approach to cyber-physical systems education with a specific emphasis on outcomes of a good CPS education. Domain experts may contribute individual components of a design, but they often lack cross-disciplinary knowledge of how these components interact in composition with others. As the prevalence and sophistication of cyber-physical systems increases, so does the need for developers with sufficient cross-disciplinary education.

A 21st Century Cyber-Physical
Systems Education (2016)
The committee's final report articulating a vision for a 2lst century CPS-capable U.S. workforce. It would explore the corresponding educational requirements, examine efforts already under way, and propose strategies and programs to develop faculty and teachers, materials, and curricula.
