The AtlanMod INRIA research team at Ecole des Mines de Nantes (http://www.emn.fr/x-info/atlanmod) is opening two 18-months positions (one postdoc and one research engineer) in the field of Scalable Model-Driven Engineering (MDE).
The aim of the research is developing theoretical foundations and an open-source infrastructure to enable the application of MDE techniques to large volumes of data.
We are looking for highly-motivated researchers, interested in participating in international research projects. The working language of the team is English.
The researchers will investigate enhancements to MDE languages and frameworks to support efficient handling of large models. The parallelization properties of MDE languages like ATL and OCL will be studied, allowing for parallel execution of queries and transformation networks. Efficient persistence of large models on high-performance backends will be investigated. This research will enable the application of MDE in distributed and cloud computing environments.
Within this scope, the precise subject of research will be defined considering the candidate background and his research interests.
Candidates should apply directly via email (with current resume, references and a brief description of research interests) to atlanmod-positions@mines-nantes.fr. Applications are welcome until the position is filled but first set of applicants will be considered beginning July 15th, 2013.
Feel free to contact us for more information.
