Post-doctoral position on Model-Driven Engineering at the Universidad Autonoma in Madrid

The Modelling and Software Engineering research group (http://www.miso.es) at the Universidad Autonoma in Madrid is looking for a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher in the area of Scalable Model-Driven Engineering (MDE).

The position is in the context of the "MONDO" EU project that starts in November 2013. The global aim of the project is to tackle the increasingly important challenge of scalability in MDE by developing the theoretical foundations and a cloud-based platform for scalable modelling and model management. While the project addresses the many aspects of scalability in MDE (including scalable model transformations and model querying, efficient storage and retrieval of models, and collaborative modelling), the focus of our group is mainly on scalability issues in the development of Domain Specific Modelling Languages. Within this scope, the precise subject of research will be defined considering the candidate background and research interests.

Prospective applicants should hold a PhD on MDE related subjects, and be highly motivated to participate in the international environment of the project, producing excellent research results. The position is for one year, with possibility of extension, with a highly competitive salary.
