International conference on reliability, safety and security of railway systems: modelling, analysis, verification and certification (RSSRail 2019)
The railway industry faces increasing pressure to improve system safety, to decrease production costs and time to market, to reduce carbon emissions and running costs, and to increase the capacity of the railway. 2018 International Conference on Intelligent Rail Transportation (IEEE ICIRT 2018)
Globally, many cities are rapidly developing and expanding their rail infrastructures, and Reliability and Resiliency are key challenges in urban rail transportation. To address these challenges, the theme for ICIRT 2018 is "Towards a Zero Downtime Rail Transportation". While zero downtime is not obtainable literally, it should not prelude us from striving to be so.
