This article analyzes the current situation of computer network security in colleges and universities, future development trends, and the relationship between software vulnerabilities and worm outbreaks. After analyzing a server model with buffer overflow vulnerabilities, a worm implementation model based on remote buffer overflow technology is proposed. Complex networks are the medium of worm propagation. By analyzing common complex network evolution models (rule network models, ER random graph model, WS small world network model, BA scale-free network model) and network node characteristics such as extraction degree distribution, single source shortest distance, network cluster coefficient, richness coefficient, and close center coefficient.

The pervasive use of software systems and current threat environment demand that software systems not only survive cyberattacks, but also bounce back better, stronger, and faster. However, what constitutes a modern software system? Where should the security and resilience mechanisms be-in the application software or in the cloud environment where it runs? In this concept paper, we set up a context to pose these questions and present a roadmap to answer them. We describe challenges to achieving resilience and beyond, and outline potential research directions to stimulate discussion in the workshop.

The purpose of this work is to analyze the security model of a robotized system, to analyze the approaches to assessing the security of this system, and to develop our own framework. The solution to this problem involves the use of developed frameworks. The analysis will be conducted on a robotic system of robots. The prefix structures assume that the robotic system is divided into levels, and after that it is necessary to directly protect each level. Each level has its own characteristics and drawbacks that must be considered when developing a security system for a robotic system.

Ubiquitous or pervasive computing is a new kind of computing, where specialized elements of hardware and software will have such high level of deployment that their use will be fully integrated with the environment. Augmented reality extends reality with virtual elements but tries to place the computer in a relatively unobtrusive, assistive role. In this paper we propose, test and analyse a security and privacy architecture for a previously proposed middleware architecture for mobile and pervasive large scale augmented reality games, which is the main contribution of this paper. The results show that the security features proposed in the scope of this work do not affect the overall performance of the system.

By accurately measuring risk for enterprise networks, attack graphs allow network defenders to understand the most critical threats and select the most effective countermeasures. This paper describes substantial enhancements to the NetSPA attack graph system required to model additional present-day threats (zero-day exploits and client-side attacks) and countermeasures (intrusion prevention systems, proxy firewalls, personal firewalls, and host-based vulnerability scans). Point-to-point reachability algorithms and structures were extensively redesigned to support "reverse" reachability computations and personal firewalls. Host-based vulnerability scans are imported and analyzed. Analysis of an operational network with 84 hosts demonstrates that client-side attacks pose a serious threat. Experiments on larger simulated networks demonstrated that NetSPA's previous excellent scaling is maintained. Less than two minutes are required to completely analyze a four-enclave simulated network with more than 40,000 hosts protected by personal firewalls.

Due to expansion of Internet and huge dataset, many organizations started to use cloud. Cloud Computing moves the application software and databases to the centralized large data centers, where the management of the data and services may not be fully trustworthy. Due to this cloud faces many threats. In this work, we study the problem of ensuring the integrity of data storage in Cloud Computing. To reduce the computational cost at user side during the integrity verification of their data, the notion of public verifiability has been proposed. Our approach is to create a new entity names Cloud Service Controller (CSC) which will help us to reduce the trust on the Third Party Auditor (TPA). We have strengthened the security model by using AES Encryption with SHA-S12 & tag generation. In this paper we get a brief introduction about the file upload phase, integrity of the file & Proof of Retrievability of the file.

Vulnerability analysis is important procedure for a cyber security evaluation process. There are two types of vulnerability analysis, which is an interview for the facility manager and a vulnerability scanning with a software tool. It is difficult to use the vulnerability scanning tool on an operating nuclear plant control system because of the possibility of giving adverse effects to the system. The purpose of this paper is to suggest a method of cyber security vulnerability test using the DPPS and PMAS test-bed. Based on functions of the test-bed, possible threats and vulnerabilities in terms of cyber security were analyzed. Attack trees and test scenarios could be established with the consideration of attack vectors. It is expected that this method can be helpful to implement adequate security controls and verify whether the security controls make adverse impact to the inherent functions of the systems.

Based on the analysis relationships of challenger and attestation in remote attestation process, we propose a dynamic remote attestation model based on concerns. By combines the trusted root and application of dynamic credible monitoring module, Convert the Measurement for all load module of integrity measurement architecture into the Attestation of the basic computing environments, dynamic credible monitoring module, and request service software module. Discuss the rationality of the model. The model used Merkel hash tree to storage applications software integrity metrics, both to protect the privacy of the other party application software, and also improves the efficiency of remote attestation. Experimental prototype system shows that the model can verify the dynamic behavior of the software, to make up for the lack of static measure.
